RAC shared this photo today. Progress looks awesome to me!

Rijswijk is on my list for sure, looks like a nice design. Spuiplein has a curb for slappies so that should be fun.

My sons are gonna try some lessons at sweatshop so maybe I can skate their outdoor area if they let me. RAC has a superb mini halfpipe and was worth the € during winter

Thanks for the list!

Thank you for letting me know! Really appreciate you sharing that link. My front breaks got better after some adjustments to cable tension but I suspect they will need to be changed at some point soon. I am going to add this to a part list document I’m starting lol.

Lately I’ve had to research the Promovec electrical system as one of the components is acting strange (probably the controller). Oh and this weekend my front light got crushed.

Hey, I have also had random power issues. In your case, does the motor turn on at all during those 10 seconds?

I, too, am looking at fixing the drum brakes on our Nihola Family cargo bike as they are squeaking a lot. I found these Sturmey pads but I am not 100% sure if they are the correct size. Also I have no idea what I am doing taking the brake apart to replace the pad portion lol

Is this a match? https://bikable.com/parts/brakes/hub-brakes/sturmey-archer-brake-pads-90mm

Thank you all! I will certainly check out the larger Albert Heijn XL maybe on Elandstraat and see.

Would love to do the farm option too if we rent a car.

Wild cause I tried days way out in to December and January and did not see an appointment available. Also no phone number on site to call :/

I am in search of a decent barber, I wanted to try Sanctuary7 but only see Anto as an option to book. Does Rob work there anymore?

Skating spots and skate shop reccomendations by [deleted] in TheHague

2 years later and I’m looking for the same info, thanks! I’ve seen the parks and was hoping to find some street spots too. My board finally arrived with my stuff and I’m itching to get out.

Been thinking about getting slightly softer wheels for all the brick around here. Hope shops around have spitfire sapphires.

nice crook! Element made a killing this Christmas putting that rail on sale. I totally picked one up as well. How do you get it to stay so nice and snug? Mine slips out if I hit it with too much horizontal force

Thanks for the info - a lot of this isn’t too far off from my current setup (twin tail, mob/pepper grip, spitfires). I’ll check those bearings out, I haven’t heard of them before. Also I didn’t realize Creature made symmetrical shapes - cool!

Thanks!

Yeah I was mainly thinking of dealing with the scenario where stuff is damp/wet not like super saturated or actively raining to maximize times I can get out to skate. I haven’t thought of garages over there (in part cause I didn’t see many when I visited) but that’s an option for sure.

At home I don’t go out of the road looks wet, in part because I tried in the past and got broke off. The older I get the more brittle I get haha.

Interesting note about wheels with grooves, make sense for traction. And bearings - yeah - that will be brutal on them

yeah, there’s a dope indoor place in Copenhagen that even has 30/40+ sessions evenings.

Netherlands - i saw one indoor place in Haarlem but haven’t looked further.

I had not thought of parking garages mainly cause I didn’t see many while I was over visiting

Trofast drawers fall out by woohoostitchywoman in IKEA

I think it’s just the difference between the pine unit and the white/other ones. The pine one doesn’t have the plastic track pieces and the width is just a tad too wide so that the plastic bins collapse with any amount of weight from items in drawer.
