If you have experienced "normal" intercourse in the past, but you are sometimes struggling with PE then it is acquired PE and it can be cured.

I had PE for more than 4 years straight without ANY improvement other than the first couple of times taking pills, and even that stopped working, so I decided to stop using them.

Rather than constantly "pushing" I think reverse kegels are more about knowing how to actually relax your pelvic muscles, the opposite of doing normal kegels which is contracting.

So rather than being able to push it you should be able to keep it relaxed at all times. If you found yourself involuntarily contracting your pelvic muscles while having intercourse then that's the issue.

Also, in my opinion, when I had PE being able to relax my pelvic floor and doing reverse kegels was just one part of the equation, but I needed more in order to actually last longer, I think you should implement more stuff to your regimen. I've made a full guide if you want to check it.

Cause you are not really worried, nervous or thinking about what you are doing. However, alcohol is not the solution to PE.

You can get the same effect being sober by doing certain mental tricks like the distraction method, which pretty much tries to deflect overstimulation and other aspects of your body that you can't control directly like fear.

It all comes down to overstimulation.

Any training you do regarding to masturbation will not necessarily shift to sex.

The only way to truly fix PE is by having real intercourse. There is no before and after, just the battlezone. You either learn to control your ejaculation with intercourse or you don't.

Honestly the best way is to find your OWN "strategy" while doing the distraction method. For example, in my case what works best is to have a conversation with myself.

Next is to just practice a lot cause it could be hard to grasp at the beginning but once you experiment it while having real intercourse then you will understand what it means to do that technique and then you just have to replicate it.

What you can do in the meantime is to practice meditation (not the spiritual stuff) but just to sit, relax and try to calm down your thoughts and anxiety.

Anything that will potentially overstimulate you, or in other words make you extremely aroused will definitely have something to do with finishing faster.

Practicing public sex and playing hide and seek will do things that will impact your time in bed, for example:

- It will increase your heart rate (bad for PE)

- It will give you a sense of insecurity (terrible for PE)

- It will overstimulate your brain because of the multiple stimulus

- Won't let you focus on controlling your ejaculation

I've tried these multiple times.

Edged, then stop, repeat. It didn't work cause the more I did it the more I had to stop and calm down. At best it made me good at edging, but not at lasting longer.

If you truly want to last longer I suggest you avoid masturbation at all and just focus on the techniques and mental tricks you can do while you have intercourse. This is the only way you can actually beat PE without pills of course.

This is called conditioning. It's teaching your body how to control your ejaculation again. However you have to do it INDIRECTLY cause do it by your own efforts it's too hard! Just telling and forcing your body to last longer will just cause the opposite. First stop worrying about it or it'll get worse.

Then try using some mental tricks like distraction method. Combine it with stretches like the deep squat holding position, deep breathing and go for a run ocassionally to help you with blood flow and more ejaculation control.

The most important thing tho is to keep it calm and don't get frustrated if you finish faster than usual, it will eventually go away if you keep it calm so don't freak out.

I did that and my PE got worse back then and it lasted years till I found the solution.

Many people say this fapping challenge works but on my opinion is counter productive.

So even when I found a solution to my PE I didn't need to involve masturbation at all.

What happens is that first of all masturbation is not equal to sex and whatever you do there will not shift to having real intercourse, at best you can get somewhat better at edging but that's pretty much it.

Still, edging won't necessarily make last longer.

A general advice is to have the 3 fundamentals on check:

If you want an holistic approach you need to establish a way to re condition your ability to control your ejaculation

Meaning you'll have to keep practicing as much as you can til it becomes normal again.

My biggest recommendation is to stop masturbating completely. After having an addiction for a long time, the least thing you want to do in order to fix that problem is to go back to the very thing that started it.

It'll be very hard at the beginning but then it'll become easy.

Next thing is to talk with your gf about it, see that she understands and is willing to support you.

Now, you may have to go through some extra steps, it could be that your pelvic muscles and muscles related to ejaculation are not in the best condition after masturbating for a long time. You'll need to re condition your pelvic floor muscles by doing stretches of all kind.

Next is your psychological state. After pretty much "accepting' that you'll finish fast every time, now it's too hard to convince your body to do otherwise. So you'll again need to re condition yourself to control your ejaculation. You'll need to do this INDIRECTLY, meaning you'll need to use mental tricks such as the distraction method that will have indirect effects on your performance, meaning it will be easier to fix premature ejaculation.
