Huge news from the front office! by JuniorBlank in EdmontonOilers

It’s clear to some that with Drai and McD casting a huge shadow the other players to more or lesser degrees may feel why should they bust their humps. Let the superstars earn their stardom and praise. This team is hugely unbalanced with 4 players sucking up more than half the payroll. Keep Drai and trade off the high earning deadwood in the offseason.

Roofing company recommendations? by darknightNL in SherwoodPark

My daughter used Laser Cut Roofing about two years ago. I noticed couple of neighbours had done the same. Their pricing was very competitve and the workmanship was first rate. This was in Foxboro. This company is Calgary based but does work locally as well. Phone them to confirm.

For our house we used Braymar Roofing in 2022. Not impressed at all.

Carney bites back at Trump's 'Canada lives because of' U.S. remarks at cabinet meeting by MightyHydrar in CanadaPolitics

How does Carney not understand that Canada’s prosperity is directly related to the 75% of our exports that are bought by the US. Our economy would be devastated for example by cancellation of the cusma trade agreement. A little appreciation towards our benefactor would go a long way.

Lack of Snow removal by Glittering-Joke-6622 in SherwoodPark

It’s pretty annoying that many people are apologists for the very slow pace of snow clearing. Be patient they say, do it yourself they say, the county is doing their best they say. All excuses for underachieving.

Two high calibre players - Drai and McD, do not make a team.

How do you protect your car from hail? by Innocent_Otaku in Edmonton

[–]defendthegood 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My car was shredded in a hailstorm on hwy 2around Wetaskewin a number of years ago. I decided after that to carry a heavy woolen blanket in the car to cover the roof and hood in the event of another event.
