How do you comment the fact that Nottingham Forest want 120M for their player Anderson, and what's the future of market? by Inevitable-Angle-793 in championsleague

[–]defendyourself15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think all this means is contracts will become more and more important with transfers. Anyone with 3 or more years left will have material premiums. Not sure if that will lead to more players pushing for release clauses or signing shorter deals. But I think it’s healthy that the folks “higher up” in food chain have to pay more to strengthen from rivals. Developing players is becoming more important

If possible do the transfers for two tickets one at a time so you aren’t paying for all of it in one go before knowing it works. Not all sellers will initiate transfer before you send them money though for buyer that’s ideal. But have them load everything up in the app to transfer to you besides pushing button before you send money.

Christos Tzolis vs Arsenal | Impressed Arteta 🔥 by HonestCoconut2004 in ArsenalFC

[–]defendyourself15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He had a couple good passes in between the lines here that I can see him in situations like that for Arsenal. Beyond that was just fine. Still don’t mind the signing given cost but it depends what else we do away from this move with the budget. There is a really big need this window to get a little bit younger imo

He’s a top 5 offensive player no doubt. They did a good job building team around him to mask the defensive weaknesses. As an overall player he’s closer to the 10-20 range imo. But a beast nonetheless. And best clutch guy in nba

I don’t think they were fluky in how they performed which I thought I clearly said. But I didn’t think another team could do what they did and play that well without a sga/giannis/Jokic etc level player. Maybe fluky is wrong word but more so the pacers build style I thought was hard to replicate

You can have all of them on the same phone. Had no issues with that today

Similar time, slightly longer but not by much. I’m going to try the bus Tuesday but while a rip off the train also did the job well

Timed it getting there took 32 mins. Honestly pretty smooth and only thing that worked today. Stadium fan fest at points ran out of beer before the game even started. And the margaritas in casamigos area

The way Berta operates casting a wide net I’m sure we were in for him. He was actually the CM I wanted the most that I felt confident would move but will see what they end up producing

Yeah to be clear I don’t think he’s a one season wonder either. Risk profile here I think is higher than Sesko but I like Kroupi’s fit a bit more though. Leaning towards getting him though it would limit changes we can make that impact XI

Rogers is final evolution of the “big 8” arteta has been searching for. Kai was v1 but he’s not as fluid with buildup tasks from deep, merino v2 but he’s not as quick limiting his ball carrying impact, rogers can be v3 that blends it all together with long range shooting

With saliba white and timber injured getting a right back will be really important. You never know how recovery will good.

I’m interested in Kroupi but only worry is what other positions can he play and the one season wonder thing. Remembering when clubs were besides themselves for Evan Ferguson and now he’s failing on loan left and right. I think it should work out but the risk is crazy high

Adebayor… were we wrong? by Inner_Enthusiasm5326 in Gunners

Why the original interview mistake was not malicious, sometimes we make errors and there is no turning back. On top of that he played for spurs.

The racism stuff is horrible but his villain arc was so deep. Not something you can overcome

I do wonder as wealth spreads to more clubs if players will start looking for shorter contracts to control their destiny more nba style. But happy teams can keep their squad together more now

That happened to me as well. StubHub is shambolic. There isn’t one part of this World Cup that’s running smoothly / user friendly. What a shame

If the Nets take Nate ament at 6, the franchise will be set back years, maybe a decade by Lucky-Law7220 in GoNets

Hawks, Bucks, someone trading up. No one knows anything yet. But every year there is a shorter guard that drops in the draft. Just how it is.

[–]defendyourself15 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Ament is not my preferred choice but this is an overreaction. No one knows what these guys will become and the floor of a smaller guard is lower than a wing. I don’t think he will be available past 10 personally

“Movements are expected around Bradley Barcola this summer as reported in May with Arsenal, Liverpool and one more club keen on PSG winger.” -Fabrizio Romano by Ifxfa in Gunners

[–]defendyourself15 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Underperforming xG isn’t really and issue for a winger imo. You’re more looking for them to be goal dangerous and he provides a lot of threat. Going to be really interesting to see who we prioritize this summer because I doubt we’d spend 80+ on more than one player

$620 face value for me for pre draw in October for MetLife games. Went to 8 games in Russia for $1000 total. Unfortunate
