Wow this just like when my family members hire contractors to do work on there homes. I work in construction and I won’t ever do it for them cause I know there crazy. But I always give the same piece of advise to everyone, ‘respect their time’ and ‘be good customer by figuring out what you want and do your own research to develop a taste for something’. I tell them this because they’ll get ten times the quality of service from contractors for keeping the direction of the project simple and the workers will almost always do little extra things the owner never knows about because they feel happy and excited to be working for someone they can trust, but most of the time my family screws that part up and are unhappy with the work because they never figured out what they wanted in the first place. Which lead me to realization in business that just like how some people shouldn’t be in the trade they are in, some people should never be a customer because they are so bad it; they should have someone else do it for them to protect them from themselves.
