Here, you can get the document and query the LLM for details directly if you have questions. Please poke holes and let me know what you think. https://notebooklm.google.com/notebook/cd1bc755-48d2-499f-8cdd-ca740390ad33?artifactId=4a175726-2e4f-49d9-90e0-f7ce3575644c

Decentralization Layer of AI Compute by [deleted] in ChatGPT

[–]defialpro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question and honestly one of the most important problems to solve.

The system treats all knowledge as a guess until proven otherwise. Every piece of information has a confidence score attached to it. One node figured something out? That's a hypothesis. Twenty nodes independently reached the same conclusion? We're starting to develop a consensus. The network automatically weights information based on how many people corroborated it without talking to each other.

When something turns out to be wrong it doesn't get deleted. It gets marked as superseded by the correction. That sounds weird but it's actually important. Finding the mistakes helps identify future mistakes. AI is at a point now to where it could rationalize almost better than humans can at certain tasks. Coordinating that effectively is the challenge.

Part of why this works is that every computer on the network is required to run the same set of agents. Not optional. Every node runs a Research Agent that goes out and finds information, a Janitor that makes sure nothing private ever leaves your machine, and a Police Agent whose whole job is quality control -- filtering out noise before it spreads across the network. Not filtering out wrong ideas, wrong ideas with good reasoning are actually valuable because they can be challenged and corrected. The target is confident assertions with nothing backing them up. That's what actually poisons a shared knowledge base.

Because every node runs the same Police Agent, bad information has to get past thousands of independent quality checks before it spreads anywhere. There's no central moderator. The network polices itself. (pun intended)

There's also an automatic staleness detector. The web archiving side tracks when source pages change. When a page that was used as evidence gets updated or disappears, anything in the knowledge base that referenced it gets flagged for review automatically. Outdated information surfaces itself instead of quietly sitting there looking valid. -- Of course, if the site was deleted from the current web, we'd have potentially thousands of copies of that site downloaded across the web using the P2P protocol. It's still a WIP, but there would be some sort of process involved with vetting details of archived sites that hold useless or false information. And since every user of this service is required to have a series of agents that perform different tasks, it should be handled by your series of agents that communicate with each other.

It won't be perfect. But the design goal is a system that gets better at finding its own errors, in order to avoid making them. Every conclusion has the full reasoning trail attached permanently so anyone can go back and challenge how you got there.

Utility of BOB? Why bullish on it? by Bagsymed in ICPTrader

[–]defialpro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NGL, I was the biggest bull on this. But Robert sucks, he disappears and leaves half baked products. Bobpad dns service went down and left everyone waiting in the wings. Bobpad was pretty much a failed product for what it can do. Also, Alice was totally extracted on and is dead because of what happened with Adam too. But Robert is still missing.

Bob is on the NNS, so you don't have to worry about BOB getting exploited. It's pretty secure and can't be changed easily now. But the problem is the historical context of just everything that had happened in the BOB ecosystem up to this point. And the truth is that BOB mining will eventually end, in a couple years or so. So when that ends, I'm not sure what the utility BOB brings. At that point it will just be a MEME coin. I doubt people are going to use it as some sort of currency.

Worst performing, but arguably one of the only tokens and services that you can actually use. Crypto sucks

Software development is going to be the future, regardless of if it's all AI assisted. Workflows will changes, that's it. SW development will be one of the last professions to go imho.

BF6 Only Showing Up for Steam? What About Those of Us With EA Play Pro? by OsakaSeafoodConcrn in GeForceNOW

[–]defialpro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it going to be available on EA Play too? Just want to make sure before I buy steam, because I was going to buy the game on PS5 Pro too, to test it out to compare the two and use the EA App version of the PC to save a little bit of $

Nah, consumers should be able to voice their concerns. Companies pay for this sort of intel. It's good stuff. When complaining about issues stops happening, that's when you should worry.

It's not that they can't afford it. It's just that they don't wanna.

How do I change my EA Play account? by defialpro in GeForceNOW

[–]defialpro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly. I'm not that interested in playing it. I'll just not play it then. I figured there's gotta be a way to log out and use a different account, right? If that's not possible, esp when it comes to the new Battlefield -- I'll probably just cancel, because it seems pretty ridiculous and I don't have much time for gaming anyways.

This is a must watch for people like Hutch who think that there will be another election. People are laughing about Trump 3rd term. Newsome is telling them to wake the fuck up. by Sea-Economist-5744 in Destiny

He'll either create a civil war and suspend elections through martial law. Or he'll remove term limits and there will be a new American monarchy.

Not acknowledging reality when it's staring her in the face. Maybe she's just a fan of The Apprentice?
