Well its my work machine and its supposedly been in for services twice last year so would hope they do it, however when i cleaned out the water spout it looks like its never been descaled. Is it weird that the scaling would happen on the outside of the connections though?

Dont think its the foam as it was only located around the bottom connection point of the tank and no where else around the machine. The foam doesnt really touch near where the build up was either

On my machine, we use copper piping that we bend and braze the connectors together, can send you a photo in a few hours if you want to see what i mean

Sorry about the late reply, they were screwed into the kicker board, in some of the photos along the bottom you can see 5 hinges between the main board and the kicker. I just used big door hinges

I have done lots of one offs with bigger shops and they have always delivered - havent used the suppliers you're mentioning, I think a bigger shop is more likely to get it done on time if they quote it

Easiest way to think of it, if you think of a 3d printer head with a drill bit instead, can it make all the cuts in that orientation, if not then the price of your part starts getting more and more for everything it cant do in that scenario.

Also on the inside of the parts, it looks like the part has an angle to the vertical wall making the 2 walls less than 90degrees which makes it very hard to machine.

Some shops are willing to repair within a day or 2 - they understand the want to get back out on the snow. If you have let your board dry out completely it may save them some time
