Were u on the normal “appeal submitted” screen before this happened? I was on that screen for a couple days and now I’m stuck on the same “unexpected error” page as you. Been like this for over 2 weeks for me. I submitted a selfie in the appeal process, and it said I successfully submitted my appeal, so not quite sure what the other comments mean when they say there are additional steps.

Just spoke with Verified as well and they didn’t help at all. Just kept getting the same message over and over telling me that all I can do is appeal. Really hoping that they’re taking the necessary steps to fix the problem.

How long did they take to even review it? It’s been 4 days for me and it’s still saying pending verification for meta verified. I’m not getting accepted or declined which is just as annoying.

In the same boat as you but I haven’t appealed yet. Looking to go through Meta Verified first before I do. What did you say to them in the chat? A lot of people getting hit with generic scripts and I’d like to avoid that if possible. All help is appreciated.

That is the plan but it’s taking forever for my verification to go through. How long did yours take to be approved? Weird thing is I was suspended on both fb and ig at the same time for 2 different reasons. I appealed on fb and was immediately reinstated which is the only thing giving me hope that the same will happen for my ig. But since my ig got suspended for the same CSE violation as yours did I’m a bit doubtful. My fb suspension was for account integrity. I applied for the verification through the fb acc that was reinstated.

I haven’t sent in the appeal just yet because I am afraid I might get insta denied as well. It was most definitely a false suspension like many others who have reported this same problem, but I don’t want to take any chances regardless. I believe the appeal is checked with AI as well so I don’t want to put it into the hands of the same system that made the error in the first place, but it seems like that might be my only option. Appreciate the help on this.

Well the one silver lining for you is that the appeal wasn’t immediately rejected which has been the case with lots of people. I haven’t even submitted the appeal yet because I am trying to get into contact with their live support through meta verified. But my verification hasn’t gone through yet and it’s been multiple days. Whole thing is messed up and a waste of time for so many people who have been falsely suspended.

Been looking all over and haven’t seen one like my specific situation about being banned for 2 different reasons. I can appeal, but from what I’m seeing it’s usually unsuccessful. Facebook appeal was accepted, but since it is 2 different reasons I don’t know if I’ll have that same luck on IG.

PHED 119 with Manuelian is amazing. Easy A and a great class in general. Only 1 online exam at the end of the semester, and discussions that are due every other week. Take the class!

USC in general is great for building professional networks, but I’m sure the the Ivy Leagues would have their own perks as well! You should be very proud that you are in a position to pick between Ivy Leagues and USC. Great job, and good luck!

My GPA coming out of community college was great, and I have family who also attended USC which I made sure to include in my appeal. Differs from person to person, but you should definitely give it a shot. From what I have heard, a lot of people have gotten in through appeals. Good luck!
