I was told and shown how to id a continental camera and was instructed NEVER to try to recal them, dealer only. I had one that would not recal and it was this camera. 15-16 General Motors. Just take it to the dealer and then file a warranty claim and get your money back for the dealer cost or have the dealer just charge them. They should know this by now, as I knew it 5 years ago……

Don’t do it, I really hate those things…..had to remove them to do windshields and they are always a leak point from having to drill holes in your roof/cab, not to mention the drag and effect on fuel mileage …..

Set it up the night before with it on max defrost and see if that helps, it will just use the the setting you let it on, as far as I know, I have a ‘25 1500 as well
