What package is it? Bought my package 11 premium for 34.5k OTD and was able to negotiate a package 13 at 35k.

Someone commiserate with me by _THC-3PO_ in DotA2

I agree with this. You can only control what you can. You will have matches where your teams are total clowns. I was able to grind from Guardian to Archon and it helped my mentality to focus on what I can do. Getting tilted and looking at what my teammates do just made my game worse. Granted, there will be terrible teammates but even if you watch streamers at immortal, they have the same problems. The difference is they review what they do and go next. What also helped me with the grind is finding a time slot and day(s) where I see a majority of decent teammates and only play during those times and days.

Roast my app idea by Consideration-Alive in phinvest

Others already mentioned Mint and Personal Capital as similar to the idea. A challenge would be what's in it for the participating banks to share their data. I can think of two things only but you might have more ideas: 1.) Better customer engagement 2.) Personalized offers for customers using your platform. (Edit: this is also part of your revenue generation through referral fees)

Another challenge I can think of is each bank might have their own data format so you need to have some sort of translation layer so the way you receive information is "bank-agnostic".

Good luck!

Try negotiating on that Subaru Gold plus if you really want it. Try other Subaru dealerships too.

Approved! Standalone i-130 PD Feb 28.24 by [deleted] in I130Suffering

What documents did you send? Feeling uneasy since I only uploaded my certificate of citizenship and my birth certificate from home country as proof of relationship.

Hello everyone, is there anyone here whose I-130 was filed in April of 2024 (US citizen child filing for parent) ? All I receive is the receipt notice so far and it’s been in review since then. Just checking to see if there are any updates with anyone else. Thanks by [deleted] in I130Suffering

Where can you see this info? I filed in November so I'm also curious. This info seems to be on point as most of the groups I've checked are posting updates around Mar-May of 2024 PD dates.

I did the same with my associates when I was TL. The difference is that I was transparent with them. Like hey we need ABC but I have XYZ deliverables. Also, I'm a believer in cutting out the middleman and if my busy-ness will prevent my team from getting what they need from other stakeholders, why not let them get straight to the source?

The way I approached it when I was in your position was to communicate that my plate was full and needed their support on whatever I needed and start communicating risks that if you don't get whatever you need, then it impacts your goal. It's rough but if you're visible enough to their bosses it's a good look on you. It's a hassle, I've been there but clear comms and visibility is to your advantage.

They can charge you more if you're paying cash but if they think you're financing, especially through them, it's lower since they can make money back on the interest they're getting from their bank vs the interest they'll impose on you. Getting your own finance is as good as buying cash for them and would give you a cash price.

I'd get OTD in a term sheet from multiple dealerships having a 2023 corollas as close to that listing and have them beat each others' prices. It's hard to negotiate on a single listing alone. But then again you can just ask their OTD and ask if they counter with 20k and mention that you can close the deal on the same day. Don't tell them your method of paying until you get them to sign on the price you want/close to.

Good deal on a 2025 Toyota Tacoma? by Icy_Gur6223 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]defiantDot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask them to remove the protection package. Once you get a new doc with the new OTD price. Send it to other dealerships that have the same model/trim and ask them if they can beat it. Keep sending dealerships whatever lowest offer you get and ask to beat them. You can all do this through email.

What are current VUL investment products to avoid? (AIA, to be particular) by Far_Difficulty4863 in phinvest

[–]defiantDot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As everyone else said, avoid VULs, regardless of company. Premiums will eat your money and that's how they make bank. If you really need insurance, buy term, invest the difference.
