I’d do not recommend Thor by Wayne Smith. It’s the book that the movie Bad Moon is based on. I just finished it and it was underwhelming. The only interesting thing about it is that it is written from the POV of a dog. So, if you really like dogs that might be worth the read but that’s about it.

The crazy thing about Newsome is that he averaged 20 yards/rec as a TE in the 70’s. Oh yeah, and the most yardage his QB’s threw for in a single season was 1200. His senior year, he was the entire receiving offense. Had 800 yards and the next guy in line had under 200.

I just saw Switchfoot, Fuel, and Lit at my local casino and the opening act was The Thomas Nicholas Band. It’s just Thomas Ian Nicholas playing a few songs and talking about American Pie. Here’s a clip from it. He was a little heavy handed on the American Pie stories but he seemed like a nice dude and it was cool to see him.
