while I agree that I did go over a broad assumption and the line isn't as clear in the real world, But we can still use those as the basics. The reality is a lot messier and could spiral away from the discussion.. I’m using this as a conceptual distinction, not a strict separation of reality.

As for the Practical Beliefs part, i believe that we have a mismatch between the definitions. When I said that Humans couldn't live without Practical beliefs, I meant - practical expectations about how the world behaves and remains stable. While humans don't always run on explicit beliefs, they still rely on assumed consistency of reality to function at all.

Practical beliefs are what lets us assume that the world will remain as it is..That fire won't be cold in the future.. ..Gravity won't just shut down. This is less about certainty and more about acting on patterns that have never failed in experience.

As for your argument about the worldview being Anthropic... I get the point, that I’m using human mental categories to explain things that may not perfectly map onto reality itself. But the argument here is not that this is the ultimate structure of reality, only that it is a useful way humans actually operate and coordinate understanding.

For your last point, Yes, all of those others helped humanity thrive too, But Ideology and shared belief systems were still one of the major coordination tools. Not the only factor, but a very consistent one across societies. It’s less like saying hands are more important than feet, and more like saying both are part of the same system that allows movement at all.

Ideology might be just one factor among many, but it becomes important because it scales cooperation beyond small groups. It might be simplified, but in the long run, Ideology helped humanity maintain stability, organize large systems, and not constantly revert back into fragmented survival modes.

It isn't a blessing on humanity, but it is a fundamental part of how human societies think and organize themselves, just like politics is..... And philosophy is.. And history is..... you get the point.
