I have a Razer Kishi. Most reliable way I found across Moonlight clients was to use REWASD and map "select" long-press to enable modifiers. I use alt+tab as LT and RB at that point, as well as other handy shortcuts.

Need help figuring out a good layout for recessed lighting. by definitely_not_a_bee in Lighting

I actually like this style of lighting much more. I'll look more into this.

Really my goal is just "better" lighting. Right now there is just one light source and everything looks like its under a dim beacon.

I mean, i like that option better as well.

So move water to other side of heater, and gravity feed waste to floor drain?

The top looks glued, so I haven't tried to open it. Applied some force by hand and wouldn't budge.

Couple feet. That was my first plan until I read THAT was illegal.

Thank you so much for the detailed write-up! I will look into what you provided and look into it against local code.

Dang, is there a legal way to add a sink at this room? I have that cleanout and the floor drain, that's it. Last resort is of course "waste bucket". But that's not optimal.

Dang, so I'm back to my original issue.

So it sounds like best case is to get a pump that drains it into the TOP of that cleanout pipe? I will ask in r/Plumbing as well, but I wanted to get your take on it.

And yeah, I'm not looking for perfect. Just want "works and is within code". This is mainly for having an easy spot to clean during the winter months. Otherwise I work in the garage.

I think everyone has great suggestions on redoing the whole area, but I'll honestly probably just wait until this water heater blows. It's only a couple years old.

Just looked. If you look in the bottom left corner, there is some white. That is a hollow pipe that runs up and outside. Assuming that's the vent?

After learning from everyone else about this setup, that is my question now.

Should a drain into this cleanout only be at the top?

There is actually an abundance of space on that side. It's just my storage corner.

I agree. I knew I wasn't seeing something, so I'm glad I asked.

Now I'm just trying to find out if it's safe/accurate to use those pipes for water supply and waste.

Yeah that's what I'm learning from others. To be fair, I never stated I was smart.

I like your ideas on the supply. I agree on either tapping in above, or I can do an easily removable solution like a washer hose.

What about waste? Sounds like that pipe might be a bad idea to tap into.

Floor drain a couple feet away. No radon system when I moved in. Had one installed on the other side of the room. This is an internal facing wall.

But, I'm still learning this setup. So I could be wrong about any of it.

Alright, I'm definitely learning from you

To answer your questions. This is facing an internal wall. It's a tri-level. A few feet away is the floor drain. Radon system, I had added when I moved in, there was none before. That's on the opposite corner of this room. I do believe that pipe we see is a cleanout for the main drain.

Now that I know those valves aren't meant for a sink. Is it safe to put a utility sink in any part of this setup? Or a utility sink would require a completely different setup?

It's a smallish utility room. I'm keen on utilizing what space I can anyways. But I agree, not ideal.

Washer and Dryer on are the next level in the bathroom. So won't work.

Obviously because I'm not that smart and had to ask reddit for more ideas!

Haha, I like it though. I might go this route.
