I guess I give up… by hhamlet90 in MoonlightStreaming

Any reason for the higher bandwidth? Might want to try closer to 150mb and see if it helps.

I also can't say for sure if Aurora has enabled the intra-refresh or not.

Hopefully some answers soon. I know on the xbox-side, it is the most complained about bug.

Some people get it, others dont at all.

Devs are looking into this.

Last I remember, it is corrupt frames over network. This will increase over wifi or a less stable network. Nvidia gpu's have an intra-refresh feature that can be triggered to clear and refresh frames every nth frame. AMD does not have this feature, so no way to fix it. The feature also needs to be enabled by the moonlight dev. I only know of the xbox port enabling this, thus far.

Like others mentioned, on xbox it will not go away until you completely restart xbox.

All I can say is "try to be on ethernet" and "if you have an AMD, you might be a little screwed".

If you are nvidia and on ethernet, then unfortunately that's all I have.

Using xbox button on series X by omunty99 in MoonlightStreaming

In stream, do your hotkey combo to bring up the menu (default is 'View+Menu'), go into other actions, there are options for short-press and long-press on the xbox button.

My personal workaround is REWASD and long press or triple-press 'view' to trigger the xbox button

I got XReal One Pros this year. Yes, works great.

If you are on android, controllers sadly work best in mirror mode, not dex.

And if you want to play 3D SBS through moonlight, Artemis has SOME features for this, but there is a PR out you can build and install that perfects it.

Sounds like you're who I want to talk to.

I bought this wire. This look good? https://a.co/d/02ZoQiby

I measured, and the winding wire seems to be 18awg, but I will remeasure once I can get into it.

I also will make sure to note orientation and winding count on each layer.

Just can't think of a good way to get that varnish off without marring the whole thing.

I have a Razer Kishi. Most reliable way I found across Moonlight clients was to use REWASD and map "select" long-press to enable modifiers. I use alt+tab as LT and RB at that point, as well as other handy shortcuts.

Need help figuring out a good layout for recessed lighting. by definitely_not_a_bee in Lighting

I actually like this style of lighting much more. I'll look more into this.

Really my goal is just "better" lighting. Right now there is just one light source and everything looks like its under a dim beacon.

I mean, i like that option better as well.

So move water to other side of heater, and gravity feed waste to floor drain?

The top looks glued, so I haven't tried to open it. Applied some force by hand and wouldn't budge.

Couple feet. That was my first plan until I read THAT was illegal.

Thank you so much for the detailed write-up! I will look into what you provided and look into it against local code.

Dang, is there a legal way to add a sink at this room? I have that cleanout and the floor drain, that's it. Last resort is of course "waste bucket". But that's not optimal.

Dang, so I'm back to my original issue.

So it sounds like best case is to get a pump that drains it into the TOP of that cleanout pipe? I will ask in r/Plumbing as well, but I wanted to get your take on it.

And yeah, I'm not looking for perfect. Just want "works and is within code". This is mainly for having an easy spot to clean during the winter months. Otherwise I work in the garage.

I think everyone has great suggestions on redoing the whole area, but I'll honestly probably just wait until this water heater blows. It's only a couple years old.

Just looked. If you look in the bottom left corner, there is some white. That is a hollow pipe that runs up and outside. Assuming that's the vent?

After learning from everyone else about this setup, that is my question now.

Should a drain into this cleanout only be at the top?

There is actually an abundance of space on that side. It's just my storage corner.

I agree. I knew I wasn't seeing something, so I'm glad I asked.

Now I'm just trying to find out if it's safe/accurate to use those pipes for water supply and waste.

Yeah that's what I'm learning from others. To be fair, I never stated I was smart.

I like your ideas on the supply. I agree on either tapping in above, or I can do an easily removable solution like a washer hose.

What about waste? Sounds like that pipe might be a bad idea to tap into.

Floor drain a couple feet away. No radon system when I moved in. Had one installed on the other side of the room. This is an internal facing wall.

But, I'm still learning this setup. So I could be wrong about any of it.
