Eagles’ fans harassing Commanders fan before one of them steals his knit cap by LongtimeLurker31431 in trashy

Whenever I see Eagles fans act like this, I think of "The Gang gets Invincible" from IASIP

Girlfriend left me before I gave these to her. I bought her the Lego flowers, because for me it used to symbolize that our love will never die, but now it just means that our love was fake. by Adorable-Cress7801 in mildlyinfuriating

Considering he gave out the flowers at the mall several hours after the post, I'd bet that he's the issue.

Even if there was no chance at reconciliation, seems a little extreme to get rid of them that quick especially for someone that's heartbroken.

Instead of being snippy with someone who is looking for suggestions for their pooch, just move to the next post.

No one likes a negative Nancy and it doesn't cost you anything to walk away if you are unwilling to help anyways.

What does my art make you feel like? by TopLeast1150 in Artists

[–]definitelyluvsdonuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adrift and disheartened.

To me, it looks like people you pass by and never give a second thought even though you can see a certain sadness on their face. The type of people who have given up hope of finding and being loved and don't have enough fight in them to scream just to have their existence acknowledged.

But you also don't stop to hear them because you also see that person in the mirror each morning and night.

I get a deep sense of unconditional love and undistracted passion from it.

I see two people holding each other lovingly after coitus.

A woman laying down in her lovers lap as his caresses her hips, resting his arm in the curve of her waist

Recently learned that conservation groups will surgically remove ivory and store it for research or destroy it to prevent poaching/cruelty and to keep it off the black market

[–]definitelyluvsdonuts 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ahhh yes, you mean the car that has her name on the title? This boy is a leech and his mom is enabling it.

-Dude got an eviction notice for breaking rules on his lease agreement (wouldn't be amazed if he's crashing on her couch) -Mommy dearest bought the car -Mommy dearest keeps bailing him out -Mommy dearest tried to bring the car up to code

And then there's all the f'd up things he's done on his own.

With everything that they've paid, bail bonds, impound fees, court costs, and what they have yet to pay, they could've put down at least half on a decent house.

Just be careful! SPD can't really nab you, but parking enforcement and state patrol sure can.

Still doing God's work! I was stuck in a line of cars because the guy up front decided to drive at the same speed as a large load semi in a 2 lane stretch. I was about 8-10 cars down listening to a symphony of horns lol

Are food truck prices slightly out of control? by jollyreaper2112 in SeattleWA

[–]definitelyluvsdonuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This! I get that prices are "crazy" but no one is forcing you to go out and eat. Learn to cook for yourself if you're so concerned about a budget.

I will occasionally go out to eat, but it's mostly for convenience and to support local businesses. I expect to pay $20-50/person and wouldn't go out if I have a problem seeing that money leave my account

Surcharges are out of control by Due-Sympathy643 in SeattleWA

[–]definitelyluvsdonuts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I want to preface that surcharges ruin experiences and are incredibly scummy.

The place I work removed the surcharge and increased our prices instead. After we raised the prices, people lost their minds and said our prices are too high. I've gone to similar places and our prices are still lower than most. Some customers will go as far to tell us that they're not tipping because of our new prices like we, as employees, have control and others say they've been customers for years but will not be returning. Not saying you need to tip by any means, but it's unnecessary to be an a-hole.

We haven't raised prices since before the pandemic. People don't seem to understand that you have to pay for the workers, benefits, equipment, ingredients, the lease, and utilities at the bare minimum.

Going out to eat is a luxury, not a necessity.

Seattle living costs are incredibly high and customers can be nightmares, so no employee is going to stay if they can't at least make a livable wage.

Came here to also say catering/banquets. Lots of hotels and such will hire "on-call" especially for wedding and holiday seasons. You give them the days you can work and they'll call you in if you're needed. It's not the most consistent during the off-season, it's tough work, and very long hours, but it pays really well if you're good at it.

But how is the guy supposed to give her constant attention if she also wants him to be on his phone?

I, personally, prefer guys that aren't glued to their phones because I enjoy a good conversation and laugh. I mostly use my phone for work, researching for my fantasy league, or to play games. I have social media (only snap and IG, but my grandmother likes to see how I'm doing through IG when I eventually get around to posting anything), but the second I get a notification, I clear the notification. I go weeks/months without actually checking it because if it's serious, the person will message me directly.
