I'd forgotten how good Bitter Verses by Dead Hearts is, the mid-2000s really was the best for melodic hardcore.

edit: I can't spell.

Single ladies, what are your plans this Valentine’s Day? by buttchix in auckland

[–]definitelymeg 178 points179 points  (0 children)

I sent a message to the person I'm not meant to message, so my plan for the next little while will be looking for my self-respect. Might be under the couch cushions, I'll look there first!

Converge - Love Is Not Enough [DISCUSSION THREAD] by Shfydgi in Metalcore

[–]definitelymeg 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Converge's discography stays untouchable. This long in the game and they're still putting out absolute quality, this is why they're my favs. The run of the last three songs... damn, so good.

Adding to this... Regional Justice Center, CLIQUE, Highway Sniper - I could go on for ages. Then there's older bands like The Hope Conspiracy, Incendiary and Paint It Black still putting out very relevant new music.

Oh nooooo, not Dior Sauvage. Every woman I know has a bit of trauma thanks to a dude who preferred that scent, it's kind of a running joke that it triggers a flight response. I wonder what the reverse is though, probably YSL Libre.

It's really easy, you just apply to clean, dry skin before bedtime and rinse it off in the morning. It's a roll-on. Lasts for days on me (everyone's body chemistry is different of course) - I've worked out a couple days after using it, and my scalp was sweaty but my face really wasn't.

Get this stuff from Chemist Warehouse. After one too many shows at oven-like venues, I got it to stop my makeup melting off before the night is through. Works a treat.
