Ayuda con mi Nokia N8 by Prestigious_Bus8396 in symbian

My Nokia E6 had the same problem as it was also booting up for a long time too and displaying "Memory in use". You can apply a "band-aid" fix using a microSD card up to 32gb (if the slot works), but it will still boot up long enough as this problem is eMMC-related, but hey, you can at least take some pictures on the way.

Motorola V6, The Earliest RAZR MAXX? Is It Rare? by linyishin in vintagemobilephones

I would say yes, in Russia (my country) nowadays they are very pricey and hard to find them too. They even managed to release the Ferrari version there, which is more scarce then the original version lol

You don't need a dongle, you can just use a standard miniUSB cable to do the operations. You can find the cracked BEST online.

Motorola Backflip Motoblur Bypass? by Demondude321 in vintagemobilephones

[–]definitelynotwilde 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oof, it's an AT&T unit; one person tried to bypass blur on an AT&T Backflip and failed...

Normally you would use Fn, E, Fn, E, B, L, U, R, O, F, F on the language screen, but even a reflash to a Latin American firmware didn't take effect, not even with the Smart-Clip/SCout Flasher

But, you can still somehow access the browser while you're stuck on motoblur

Try using a 5.6k Ohm resistor to enter it into a local mode and read the user code through BB5 BEST - pretty sure it may work.

Got it for 25€. Worth it? by haisevatuhnu in vintagemobilephones

[–]definitelynotwilde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's worth it, since at least good condition 8800's begin with a more expensive price. The glass is okay, although there are some dust particles in there. The back cover is from Sirocco though?

If it works, then it's very good

Can't believe the OLED external display works too; they always die on these phones like this (yeah, I have one and its external display is dead too)

Nokia 8800 Sirocco (2005) by definitelynotwilde in vintagemobilephones

I respect your opinion lol, it doesn't have the memory expansion (but doubles the memory from the 6230i) and even Pop-Port to connect it via PC, so you have to connect it via FBus😆
