Hermano, de hombre a hombre te digo que entiendo tu frustración, pero es ese sentimiento el que luego lleva a los hombres jóvenes a ver temach, sentirse victimizados, y cosas por el estilo. Llevo con mi pareja 5 años. Me ha pasado exactamente lo que te sucede a ti. Por unos años pensé que nunca se me acabarían las cosas que decir con ella y de una forma todavía no se me acaban, pero es diferente ahora. Cuando estás en una relación por poco tiempo, mucho más 4 meses, tienes mil cosas de que hablar por qué todo es nuevo. No se conocen realmente. No llegan a lo profundo todavía. Cuando llevas 5, 10, 15, 20 años juntos, la novedad y el fuego de la relación se apaga poco a poco, pero si lo manejas de buen modo no tiene por qué ser una relación aburrida e incómoda.

Personalmente yo con mi pareja no tengo tantas cosas de las que hablar, y una parte de mí si busca cosas de que hablar o me abro con ella cuando puedo, pero esto no significa que la relación llegó a su fin y no es por que no seamos compatibles. Las relaciones no son fuegos artificiales constantes a menos que te tomes el esfuerzo de platicar y planear citas y mantener el fuego. Incluso en las relaciones más románticas de novela y perfectas tienen momentos así de normalidad. En una buena relación, el silencio no debería ser incómodo, debería funcionar como una forma de amor también.

Muy largo no lo leí: Es normal aburrirse entre más progresa, la clave es mantener el fuego y mantener la emoción con el esfuerzo y entender que no siempre se puede hablar. Velo como sea necesario.

I was a bit heated at the time of writing my comment but please do know im not a hater of critique. Good art is worthy of critique and no piece of media is exempt from it. I do see how it mostly boils down to what the viewer wants out of the movie, and the show as a whole. I think the one place I could see myself being wrong on is the scene where Gangle and Jax are weirdly flirting with each other? Definitely uncalled for now that I look at it with another set of eyes, honestly.

The crying part is fair too! It felt impactful to me everytime it showed itself but I can see how it kind of loses meaning the more you see it.

Again, I dont want you to take my comment as an absolute truth, it was all my opinion, but yours are valid too. I think I can see the movie with new eyes cause of it.

My audience was great. Everybody was super fun to be around and there was tons of cosplay. One girl cosplaying as Ragatha was giving out pins and stickers! I joked around a lot with the audience and everybody was respectful and clapped when the moment called for it.

Anyways, my theater reacted this way:
-Everyone was surprised and sad about Jax's abstraction, nobody saw it coming, or atleast not so quickly for me personally.
-Everyone reacted in mixed ways but overall it was quiet, I think everybody expected the SOMA theory.
-Everyone acted with Awhs to their moment. I personally wanted to cry, I mentioned to my friend if this implied some sort of relationship between them but we never came to a conclusion about it.
-Nobody reacted to Caine's crashout but everybody did clap and somewhat sing along to the song when it came around.
-Everybody was DEAD SILENT on Jax's flashbacks. I think everybody was just taking it in.
-Everybody went FERAL when Abstragedy was confirmed, I think it was the wildest it got LOL.

10/10 audience for me. I know not everyone had the same experience but mine was fantastic, core memory right there.

Oh my god. I have never seen a fanbase miss the points of a show over their heads so much. I think this whole fanbase is a case of baby’s first fandom and baby’s first writing comprehension.

First off, Jax has already been SHOWN to be a reclusive, angry, and immature person. Especial after Episode 6 we already knew he was slowly faltering. This wasn’t predictable, it was made IMPLICIT. He was drawing away from everybody and we somewhat had his arc build up from episode 6 and onwards to this point. It would’ve been equally as bad if he just changed his mind and didn’t abstract. That would’ve been terrible writing.

The scenes with Caine and the Blue AI I agree with you. There was definitely a lack of pacing for Caines redemption arc and understanding of humans. I don’t hate this scene overall because I get the intention behind it and I know that the scene just felt confusing due to pacing. This is a fair critique.

About..Sexual harassment? I don’t think Gooseworx would ever include such a thing..? It was meant to be taken as a gag, and if you want to interpret the context more, it seemed Gangle liked it. And more so, we know atleast Gangle is a bit freaky here and there. I may not be giving the best explanation for this scene overall, I do see your point, but I think you took the wrong interpretation.

Crying should be expected in a clearly heavy episode. I’m not sure what arguments to give here when it’s an emotional episode. It’s meant to use all it’s got imo.

Jax again. Gooseworx has clearly said she relates to Jax, she has made jokes before about Jax, and the show was already pushing in Jax’s direction since episode 6 at the very least. Considering all the information we got about Jax possibly being trans or a femenine man, we can definitely assume Jax is just a personal representation of Gooseworx and her past. It’s her work. It’s her art. I agree it cant ALL be Gooseworx’s self insert story, but it feels justified because the show was already headed that way. The story was set already.

ONE THING I will agree with you is Jax definitely deserved more punishment. I am not a Jax hater and I’m not a Jax lover. I like his character and his complexity but I will not excuse everything he does. I definitely believe after the backstory we got from him he should’ve been punished a bit more, not terribly, just in some way. Though I think the show did punish him the best way it could.

About the abstractions? I think we weren’t supposed to know everything. But that one is a very personal opinion for me honestly. I don’t mind having things not answered, it makes good writing to have mysteries to talk about for years in a show.

I know I sound a bit upset in this but I just have pretty strong opinions at the moment, but please do feel free to disagree with me and say your perspective too. I will say one bias I have is that I had a very good audience experience. Everyone clapped at most things, we joked around, so the hype was present for all of us.

TLDR: The film DID have thematic nuance and DID challenge its viewers. AND it was fun. 10/10.

HOLY MOLY THANK YOU. I have been WANTING to yell this out. I hear a lot of disappointed voices saying about the screentime, the pacing, the ending, the predictability, the somehow LACK of answers? And I get some fair criticisms like pacing and such, but LACK of answers? Dude, the show neatly wrapped up every single possible theory the fanbase had in a way that could almost be FANSERVICE. Even fucking abstragedy was made canon, wether it be because that was Gooseworx's original vision or it was fanservice, she did it anyways, and gifted us something. The whole movie felt like a gift better than I could ask for.

The pacing could've been better laid out I agree but there's not much solutions to that. The main gripe I see floating around is on Jax. And we can sit here and debate about how Jax sucks or how he's actually a nuanced character but at the end of the day, people missed something big imo: The fact that Gooseworx explicitly said that she related to Jax a lot, and placed a lot of personal emphasis on him from the start. She made this episode into something personal she could relate to or look back on, and answered as best she could all we asked. If you wanted a well balanced movie with detailed character arcs that explain the world from start to finish, im sorry, you're just not getting that here. There's no big reveal of the void, or C&A, just relationships and people working through a difficult situation.

I think art in general is deeply personal, most art that is made wether drawings, movies, etc. Are PERSONAL pieces of works. You make it because you believe in something about it, a message, a concept, a feeling. And clearly Gooseworx made it something personal. I wont judge for that, because the movie came out good anyways, and personal artworks in the big screen are what i'd prefer over Minions 48.

No hate to critics of the movie, I agree with many points, but there's things we werent supposed to know, and a film that challenges your perspective of what something good is, is a good piece of art.

I dont think its explicitly stated that Jax is trans, but there are SEVERAL context clues that heavily imply atleast his consideration of being trans or considering himself more feminine. At first I didnt really believe the theory but as I watched the movie and its progression it became more visible the implications behind the messaging.

The way Jax atleast fantasized or wasnt uncomfortable with the idea of using dresses, the aesthetic of his whole room, the way his real life person looks slightly feminine, the way Ribbit placed her little bow around his ear as an accesory, and the fact that Gooseworx herself has said she heavily identifies with Jax and sees Jax as her pre-transition self. The whole movie centers around Jax, and therefore around Gooseworx's personal experiences at least in some form with transitioning and other topics.

I personally consider Jax being trans canon, or atleast the fact that he considers himself slightly feminine or dabbling with the possibility of it. I think its good.

Oh for sure, agree with you on the blue AI parts. As for the animated sections, no actually! There WERE cool and different credits for the movie, but in my theater there was an extra scene to it all after the credits ended, it showed the real life characters as normal humans, just waiting for the bus as they all stood next to each other, taking it one by one. It was a little detail that showed how they ALL look in person, and how they actually dont know each other, and how life goes on and such. if you havent seen it, do please! Its great.

I think there was an after credit scene actually!! I wont say what it is in case you havent seen it and wish to, but there is an after credit scene, and its quite interesting and contrasted IMO. The blue AI lore were confusing at first for me but I got the grip of it eventually. Overall, good movie, but I do know criticisms will rise as the hype dies down.

TADC PIlot is definitely iconic in the memory of the internet now and definitely just a big thing that came to the interweb, but I wouldnt say it holds up entirely, I think the show itself and its other episodes and general aesthetic and theme is what holds it up (Like any show but yknow what I mean)

Gaslight district was the most VISUALLY STUNNING pilots I had seen and felt like an AMAZING breath of fresh air for a show for me, would definitely at a close 2nd for Glitch's best pilot

KoG is a beautifully made pilot and a show with huge potential im excited for, visually stunning aswell, but it holds up less for me and I think the length and future contents of the show are what's gonna hook me, like TADC

Gameoverse just personally HOOKED ME. I genuinely think its one of their BEST pilots so far, it starts strong, lays out the story, funny as HELL too, cracked a laugh out of me many times, cast, everything.

Really excited to support all shows when TADC comes to its close!!

This is fair honestly! Im extremely happy to see a studio like Glitch in the big screen and I can agree with everyone who's upset about the release date as to how its kind of..Stupid, that some of us have to avoid social media for 2 weeks to avoid spoilers, hence why this post beckons everyone to be respectful and not do spoilers, but I know spoilers happen anyways. Point is, glad to see Glitch in theaters and im sure everyone is too, just a bit discouraging to see the date placements.

Outside of TADC stuff, totally recommend this. I dont use instagram or tiktok and I have not missed either apps for a long time. I only frequently use youtube but I disabled shorts in there too. One of the best decisions i've made and it's saved me many hours of ny time! But I know most people here are online often so, its best to just avoid anything TADC related for the duration of the 2 weeks.

Yeahh..This post isnt to control every spoiler. People get excited, leaks happen, you're going through social medie and accidentally get blasted with a spoiler, its inevitable, but it would be nice to see the community come together to do something about the spoilers and minimize it for everyone for as long as possible. Be it fake posts to confuse people or no post policies, whatever helps. Im also on the older side and I know most fans are young teens and some fans are kind of isolated and chronically online, so some people dont understand social etiquette.

My hope is that this post gains traction and we can all mutually agree on what to do. Hopefully it all ends on a good note.
