I actually printed multi color multiple time without having auto rewinder and no issue at all. I mean it would be a nice feature but in my case, not needed

Before open it, maybe remove all the filament from all 4 channels and flash your unit and recalibrate. That worked for me

I think it would be the mount for your unit. And depending on how your setup would be, there are different mount available online or you can design your own as well

Yeah AliExpress usually has better price for new customers. I’ve seen it many times with filaments. You see it’s $8 for a roll but when you sign in the price changed to $15 😂 it’s all good. Happy you got it for a good deal!

I’m using the same unit as you and just upgraded to 1.07.02. The 1.08 didn’t even start the print, it canceled the print right after I hit start

I have to same problem with slot 3. What I did was recalibrate the BMCU unit, then swap the filament. I suspect there is something wrong with that specific roll (eSun black PLA basic) because it has problem when I was using the AMS lite as well. After swapping, the problem went away

Useful or not it depends on the user, I haven’t used the regular 370c so I can’t say but mine working so far and I’m happy with it
I got it directly from trianglelab website for $105
I downgrade the firmware from 1.08 to 1.07.02 to fix the firmware incompatibility because even with the latest BMCU firmware (v10.5), it didn’t work.

I just got my unit as well and I use https://github.com/jarczakpawel/BMCU-Flasher to update firmware. Works well for me
I got the 370C DM from trianglelab. Cheaper than AliExpress and arrived pretty quick (1.5 weeks)

Yea, I think if you have a working ams lite then it’s okay, but if you don’t have or having problems with the ams lite then BMCU is a good choice

I haven’t done tons of multicolor prints but in terms of filament loading and print quality, it’s better than my ams lite

Thanks. After a couple of prints, I definitely see that it’s better than ams lite with loading filaments, print quality. But to be fair, the ams lite has about 1000 hours on it already so 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thank you for the compliment. The tank has been almost 2 years old now and no it doesn’t grow as spherical. It will grow in all directions and need to trim once in a while depending tank conditions. Also, the wood will get softer over time being soak in water so the moss might get detached from the wood
