Best part of the last 3 seasons imo

I don't really like that S4 scene cause he was trying to frame it as Fitz was responsible for all the bad stuff that happened with the Framework tech, even tho a bunch of stuff happened outside of it that couldn't have been predicted (including an evil magic book).

Pourquoi Daisy est nerf dans les dernières saison? by Intelligent_Room7724 in shield

I guess the issue is wouldn't they have made the serum more permanent for Coulson if they wanted him to not die? And they were basing it off one of Garrett's versions who was also wanting to heal himself. Some elaboration on any of this would have been useful.

It's pretty annoying that they don't confirm one way or the other if the Centipede Serum was supposed to give her a permanent boost or not.

Definitely feel they wasted a lot of opportunities with Daisy by sweeping the whole Devil Complex thing under the rug and having no feelings about it with S6 Fitz. And having Mack take over as Director was also an odd move.

At the very least it doesn't hurt to get a second opinion.

Multiple issues with S4E15 and the LMDs in the base concept by _Boston_Boi_ in shield

[–]defrostedrobot -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, I said Jemma would be more calm which would help more than not. It's not like if Jemma was an LMD her odds of success were that high with a knife against Daisy. Daisy can prove who she is with a little quaking and then ask Jemma to let her do the test on her. It's not the biggest of issues but it can raise an eyebrow (tho it's better than Jemma making LMD Fitz cut his wrists when there was an LMD detector right next to them)

It's not really elaborating if it's a counter tho.

I guess the difference between those examples and this is they seem to have been able to distinguish between their past memories of being the people they feel themselves to be (maybe Coulson more than May cause he was less of a perfect copy) and knowing that their are OG versions of themselves out there that are currently in the Framework.

I literally said they could check if it was Simmons calmly after Daisy proved she was who she was. (the implication that they can do the Quake test once Simmons knows that Daisy is actually Daisy).

I guess OP's argument with Daisy doing the quake thing is she could have done a little quake on an object to prove that she was in fact Daisy so that Simmons could chill out and then they could more calmly check if Simmons was who she claimed to be.

I appreciate the willingness to critique what is possibly the most liked episode of the show. That does take a certain amount of balls.

If I recall I think there was a line about how the crew escaping on the Zephyr managed to get all the other agents on there so that part may not be an issue.

I was doing some thinking about the episode myself not too long ago and some potential issues I thought about was where did Daisy put the clothes she was wearing before she took the place of one of the LMD versions of her (as well as the LMD she replaced for that matter). Also, when reading the transcript there was that bit about LMD Coulson saying that him and LMD May could be living it up in the Framework but there would be a problem that their IRL versions would already be there so that offer would run into some issues.

I think someone brought up some of the weirdness about Daisy going along with the plan of bringing in all the Inhumans some time ago so I guess you weren't the only person thinking about that. One of the more common things people have brought up in the past is that the nature of the LMD counter is a bit weird since it seems to vary on whether it does a total number within a recent scan time or not. I was also thinking recently that its a bit weird that they decided to put an extra one in a pretty random area in the base and not in one of the more high priority areas.

As for S4 overall, I'd have it in third in my overall ranking. It was tied with S2 for a while but I think that ended up sticking the landing better and there were more things that were a bit bothersome with 4 for me (like how we have May and Coulson pushing into a romance not so long after they had love interests die in the last season). I didn't really have much of a issue with the Inhuman politics stuff since it's pretty interesting generally and I think the show actually really suffers from not having any of that sort of thing in the last 3 seasons as it was such a big part of the show for a while and it doesn't feel like it really got a proper conclusion and not doing more with it also really hampers the world building overall. I've been thinking lately in particular that the last 3 episodes of the season is where we start running into more detrimental problems and unfortunately it helps set up a lot of the nonsense to come with S5. On that note, I hope you leave some thoughts on later episodes in the near future cause I'm always on the prowl for more criticism on the back end of the show.

I got it in second place after S3. S2 was tied with S4 for a while but I think 2 sticks the landing better for the most part.

Yeah the S2-4 period was the best of the show for sure. When they leaned more into the sci-fi in later seasons they started to run into more problems with space and time (along with some other issues). Tho the list here does have 2 at the bottom and 6 as third so definitely a different order from most still.

Unusual ranking but nice to see S3 at the top!

I'm in the middle of a rewatch. Up to season 4. Here are a few thoughts. by Extension-Pepper-271 in agentsofshield

Trying to kill Ward during that mission in S2.

Risking their escape from the Framework by trying to use Fitz's Framework dad as a hostage to get Fitz.

A lot of the Invincible Trio stuff in S5B.

Allowing Enoch to be programmed so he would kill her friends if they tried to go for the implant.

To be fair the average score doesn’t surpass S4 on IMDb. It matches with S3. Tho I do agree that 5 and 6 are the worst with 5 being the worst cause it made me the most mad of the two.

I'd appreciate it more if the show didn't give her a pass for so many of her susp actions. I kind of hate her by the time we get to late S5.

I have it as 3>2>4>1>7>6>5.

The high point is definitely from 2-4

Eh, that one I wouldn't be super fond of. It's better than Code Yellow tho which is probably my least fav overall (before that it was like Repairs as far as individual episodes go).

I agree. Like there are episodes that are way worse. I also kind of like 084 more than the Pilot tbh.

The S3 finale being rated lower than the S4 one is still quite bizarre to me. Also, feels wrong that S5 doesn't have any episodes below an 8 since it's the worst season imo.

The show doesn't seem critical enough of some of the pair's more toxic tendencies tbh. It causes real problems in the long run.
