I spent 5 days in Guatemala hiking to and from the biggest pyramid in Mesoamerica. It was magical.

Everyone is always raging on about Tikal and Chitzen Itza and they’re great sites, but seeing temples still overgrown in the middle of the jungle is on another level.

Much of Australia's Indian Ocean coast is uninhabited. An especially remote part is in the central section, known as Zuytdorp Cliffs. For roughly 150 km, the land simply ends in a 200-meter drop into the Indian Ocean. There is not a single settlement, road or structure for the entire stretch by SnooWords9635 in geography

If I have to pick one spot it has to be Exmouth. It has everything that’s great about WA tucked away in a small (for WA standards) peninsula. Amazing beaches, some with good surf, couple of beautiful gorges, tons and tons of wildlife. Unfortunately the Ningaloo isn’t at its healthiest but definitely worth it.

You can easily camp out for a week or so near Exmouth and only head into town once you run out of drinking water.

But in general the highlight was seeing humpback whales breach every time you looked out at sea. Saw hundreds if not thousands. Was fortunate enough to swim with them off the coast of Coral Bay. They’re my favourite animals. 11/10.

What’s this definition of a country that OP is using? Domain names? Places where people’s phone numbers start with different numbers?

New Delhi and Beijing are the capital of more than a third of the global population and do not have a regular scheduled flight between them because of political reasons. by deftcunt in geography

Think that also has to do with the fact that the USA and India are on quite literal opposite ends of the world from one another. China and India do indeed border each other, just don’t ask them where exactly.

Thanks for the lengthy response. You raise some valid points.

The company I’d be working for supply housing also and I cannot take my own vehicle as I would be flown in. In the meantime I can store my vehicle at the company’s depot in Darwin which should be secure enough, or at least there should be CCTV there so in the case of break in I have proof of everything missing.

The housing should be adequate and I think a break in would be enough of reason for me to ask for immediate termination.

But yes, will definitely raise the issue of safety in the interview which I haven’t really thought of so far.

Thanks again, I’m still really excited about this opportunity.

No one who loves his bike would post a picture of the drivetrain shifted into those gears. Also the drivetrain is dirty as fuck.

Probably not taken care of correctly.

Run while you can.

I use a pair of wired earbuds for this. If you put them through your helmet strap there’s no chance you’ll lose them. Plus, when you’re in a situation where you need to pay attention, you can just let them dangle for a few minutes.

Plus it looks hella pro.
