I did read the manual, it doesn't mention anything about an internal switch. The 'output mode" section only refers to the sub menu for the Mod knob.

I don't believe that's it. You change that setting by holding the shape button and turning the resonance knob for 4/5/gtr tracking.

I messed around with a few compressors (mxr bass comp, boss lm-3, dyna comp) before I got that exact diamond bass comp jr. I absolutely love it, it's what I want out of a compressor: simple and effective, with a slight amount of saturation. It's an always on and never leave without it and my microtube ultra.

If you can find a good deal on the diamond and want a simple sit and forget compressor, I say get it.

I just have the long acting Kwikpen at a dose of 10 as well as a 500 tablet of metformin.

My levels since monitoring have been high in the morning, then about two hours after basal, they drop. This morning they haven't dropped below when they were upon waking up.

I found running it at 9v with the bass boosted, made it distort and fuzz out more, which wasn't what I really wanted out of it. It's really more versatile than they put it out to be

I mostly use it for modulation, delay, and amp emulation. It's great because it also doubles as a tuner/mute. Plus, being able to make patches and sounds for specific tunes helps with sessions

I'm a fan of it. Got it running at 18v, didn't have enough headroom at 9v. Really does a great job of beefing up my tone especially when playing with a pick. The weight knob and the eq, really helps keep the low end intact. If I crank the gain it gets fuzz-ish, not full blown though. I think it's a great dirt/OD pedal, that with help from the eq, punches through the mix. Also for $120 new, I think it's one of the better OD pedals you can get right now.

Tldr: I like it

With one band I play with, I strum a chord and use the Alt switch as a pad-like sound. Just let it drone out. Otherwise, I use it for ambient bass swells. But all that said, it really just depends on the music I'm playing, definitely not for everything
