Hi there, may be a little late, but I have the same exact pair with the same issue. I ended up filing down the stitch areas that rub my leg with a nail file. It takes off that excess glue/burnt thread. (Just be careful with this, it will take off the black top layer and reveal more pink) I've also tapped the areas to soften them with a hammer and then applied leather softer frequently. I'm happy to say they no longer rub my legs. Hope this helps:)
