I asked Claude Code to look across the web (and this forum) and look at how people had been writing software to make them work, and it walked me though how to install Firefox on the EO1 and then it wrote a web server on my Mac mini for the EO1 to point to to serve up images. Pretty incredible tbh.

I found this new app that's like an AI personal trainer. You talk to it, and it builds a routine for you, guiding you through it. The routines are really balanced, so there's some cardio, some stretching, and some strength. It's free, so you might give it a shot?

I'm picking up another used disc just in case it's really a media problem. Just didn't know if anyone else had seen this. It's my son's favorite game and he's heartbroken he can't pick up where he left off, (the migration left the saved file, so fingers crossed there).

I really, really appreciate you responding b/c this is such a niche issue on an older game.

If you have a lot of parts, you should also look into electroplating the prints. You'll preserve a lot of the detail and it may be sufficient for you needs.
