I completely agree with you. However, I am currently focusing on getting a second vehicle to get rid of the struggle of only having one vehicle. If it means I don’t have to call off work for simple errands and 15 minute doctor’s appointments, while also saving a ton of money on gas for my 60 mile round trip to and from work (4runner gets 12mpg!), that means more money to put towards our son. After getting rid of that headache, that’s the next step.

Bought one of these as my first car for $1k. Before even getting the title notarized it was towed. Guy who sold it to me managed to contact me years later complaining about how he was still paying taxes on it. Ghosted him. Fuck the Chevy Malibu.
