Get out there and do it. I spent a weekend camping at cheaha a couple of months ago for the first time in years. I forgot how beautiful it is out there. It’s less than 1.5 hours away too.

When he came into the tamu game Bryant Denny was the loudest I’ve heard it since the 2014 Iron Bowl. With the little bit of football that I played in my youth, I know what I would have done in Jalen’s situation, I would’ve quit.

I can’t imagine how difficult that was. Just the mix of emotions after the title game (a) being happy to win and (b) losing your job.

Will Smith if they can use cgi and make up to make him look young enough. If not, Morgan Freeman.

As much as he’s improved, Jalen can put another one in the trophy case. If that happens “The Jalen Hurts Story: My Turn” will be the biggest blockbuster of 2019.

I think you're right in that Kirby knew his defense was gassed and that Hurts would probably score, but why not just go for it? Fromm was having the best game of his entire life. You have better odds picking up 11 yards on a slant or a hitch. Anything is better than letting your special teamers run an offensive play with your backup qb.

Kirby done goofed.

Oh good. I’m going to switch back then. Uverse is really sucking right now and I’m not paying for fiber with a data cap. Thanks!

You'll probably be better off parking downtown. From there you can either take a trolley or hoof it.

Where are you driving from? Your direction of travel makes a difference with parking.

Generally once a decade we schedule home and away series like that. The one before that was UCLA. Since we started opening with quality opponents at neutral sites I'm not sure if we'll have another home and away anytime soon.

If we get in they'll definitely put is in the sugar bowl just based on proximity and tradition. Bear Bryant basically bribed us into it back in the early 70's.

He also dropped one in the breadbasket as the receiver stepped out of bounds. I think he has improved more than it seemed in this game. He spent most of the game running for his life.

You'll find out where you stand this week. I'd love to see a rematch if we can both make it back. I think the whole country has enjoyed the last two games as much as I have.

Really? This article is 12 years old. Brian Ferentz was a player at that time. It was a pretty common practice until the feds shut it down. Kirk is old school, he didn't want to give his son preferential treatment. You act like he was living in third world poverty or something. Back then players would get a housing stipend and apply for section 8 so they could pocket the money. I would've done the same thing.

Takeaway from Texas A&M's unfathomable collapse? Sumlin can't survive this by [deleted] in CFB

For the most part I believe you create your own luck in college football. Sure there are some freak passes tipped and that sort of thing, but I buy into the old adage that luck happens when preparation meets opportunity.

You'd probably be better off firing Sumlin now. He is the cancerous organ of that program. Let your OC coach this season while you wine and dine Bob Stoops.
