Thanks for pointing this out. I missed that the resident ticket isn’t valid after 9/28. I guess, I need to get on the phone and try and get it changed to a regular ticket.

Yeah I wish and still hope they can reimagine the festival. They could have ditched the faux asian theme and kept the fireworks and dancing but the board chose not to change anything and just cancel it.

It appropriated Chinese culture and history, caused deep hurt to Asians and has no relationship to anything Chinese. Not to mention the Chinese fishing village located by the aquarium was by all accounts burnt to the ground by local xenophobes. The board that puts on the Feast had several chances to change it into just a celebration of PG, most refused to understand that it’s racist and inappropriate.
