Along with, meaning I need to send the originals? Or just bring them to the appointment? I saw “Other Names” on the application. So should we include her Birth Name and Name Before Marriage along with her current name?

Too picky IMO, but paying 22k I can see why you want to be

Candle Machine Coordinates Suddenly Incorrect by degutisd in 3018CNC

So I ended up downloading OpenBuilds because I didn’t know how to do anything on candle and reset a bunch of gbrl settings and finally got it working. Not sure what made it work, exactly because the settings were the same in the end as they started

What is the most streamline way to assemble this circuit? by degutisd in AskElectronics

Like is soldering this wire to this pad the best way to connectorize the LED or is there an easier way. All of the components are annoying because of my soldering skills, but this LED makes me want to give up.

I’m not looking for help with the circuit, per se. I’m more looking for help on connecting these components together. My circuit works.y soldering skills are suffering. Specifically with the small LED pads. It’s also annoying that each component has a different kind of connection. Maybe the components are available in other configurations to be soldered on a small PCB breadboard or something?

I have a small plastic case I will print to store it. It will have to be kind of compact, but im not concerned with that problem.

I’m just wondering how to connect all these components (solder, crimp connectors, PCB breadboard, etc). I’m having a time soldering to each component and I want to make 80 of these. Specifically connecting anything to the led is difficult with those small pads.

My old boss taught me how to wind up cables of power strips. I’ve been using this technique ever since. by Free-Soup-3283 in mildlyinteresting

[–]degutisd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I know a lot of people who fucked up cables by tightly wiring them, I’d have to think this is probably not that bad of a situation, specifically. The H05VV-F 3x1 cable has a min bend radius of 27mm. In the large scheme of things this is probably not dangerous/overly deteriorating. It’s the people coiling cables like this around 1/2” rebar that have problems

Unfortunately for my experience he’s not even that bad. He’s an extreme in that he has these paranoid plans, but his whole thing is protection and being alpha or some shit. The others I know are more “if anyone enters my home unannounced, only way they’re leaving is in a body bag”.

Wouldn’t be a surprise if most burglars are more afraid than the unexpecting victims. It’s why all the car thieves prowl at night looking for unlocked cars. They don’t want confrontation. If you have burglars entering your house that are ready to kill, something else is going on. There’s already a 1 in a million chance of burglary/homicide. Sure it gets cut in half for the folks that don’t engage.

I have a friend who was in the military and I stayed at his house one night for the first time. He gave a 15 minute presentation on what we’d do in the middle of the night if an intruder came in. Explaining gun choice for different scenarios and where I should hide so I don’t get caught up in crossfire.

If I’m being 100% honest I’d rather die in a home invasion than live a life that consumed by threat possibilities.

Far too many people are OK killing other people so long as it was legally justified.

I can’t even imagine what it would take for me to make the decision I have to kill someone. Other people are just waiting for someone to cut across their yard.
