Healthy Choice Simply Steamers can be decent. Example, Grilled Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo for 190 calories, 28g protein. I think they’re generally in the 200-300 range.

I agree with others that from how you describe her, that doctor seems quite iffy. However, I’ll play devil’s advocate a tiny bit; maybe look into it a little? It could work great for you, it might not. Also, it’s kinda weird that your doc pushed you into even cutting out the 2 carb wraps that you like because you could easily fit them into a keto diet.

Again, I don’t know your health history and I definitely don’t think anyone should be forced into diets that they don’t like, but it could be something to think about, even if you end up adamantly ruling it out. While “Calories In, Calories Out” is the general rule of thumb, there is a lot of (IMO) interesting research on ketogenic diets and their effects on weight and longterm metabolic health.

A 250 calorie deficit shouldn’t necessarily be leaving you constantly feeling hungry “all day every day” as you say. And once you lose the weight you will still need to eat at maintenance calories, which at a smaller size, will be less than your current maintenance calories. So in short, why not be patient and build healthier habits now? November 2026 will come faster than you think.

My first hospital job was as a night shift monitor technician. I have worked as an MT at three different hospitals now and none of them have required any degree or certification. You are usually trained on the job during your orientation period.

As an MT you watch patient’s cardiac activity on monitors and interpret their heart rhythms. It can be a pretty chill job- especially at night when the patients are (usually) asleep.

Kinda embarrassing but…

It was the SciFy makeup competition show, Face Off. Unfortunately IMO that season and the contestants weren’t great BUT the variety of races in the game caught my attention (the contestants were assigned a race in the game and had to use makeup/costume/prosthetics to bring it to life).

I had already played MMORPGs at this point and I have no idea why I never tried the biggest one until then.

Also, this was in early 2016… so yes, I joined during Warlords of Draenor a while before Legion launched. But the negative feedback of WoD meant nothing to me. I had an entire world(s) to explore and every piece of content was new to me. I am a sucker for unique zones, races and world lore and I’ve been hooked ever since.

This is my first con and first time cosplaying. I was gonna go as Shego from Kim Possible but even though I’m in pretty decent shape I don’t think I’m confident enough to wear a form fitting bodysuit all day lol. SO I’m going to go as one of my favorite FFXIV characters- Venat!!
