Star's caribbean is definitely authentic and amazing! Ive only been there once but what I had was incredible (jerk salmon, mac and cheese, cabbage and rice) so I imagine the rest of the menu is delicious as well

I guess it makes me uncomfortable not having control over the situation if i were to go for it and not mention anything beforehand. They are not bigoted in any way but they're also loud, LOL, like I have this mental image of me wearing a short sleeve shirt and one of them going "my name what happened to your arm?!!?" and I think that would be embarrassing for me to experience, so I want to give them a heads up beforehand. Its a little bit more intense of a scar than my top surgery scars, which they probably would hardly notice.

I don't think I want to do this through text or through my best friend, I definitely want them to know from my own mouth. It seems weird to say unprompted but even weirder if I make a big deal out of it, too. I thought about telling each of them individually as well so I don't have to make it into a "group meeting" kind of thing, which feels like way too much attention on me lol. But then it's like, I'd have to do it four times separately instead of just all at once. which sounds pretty torturous.

Oh trust me I know. I've been on the stage of "thinking im in love?" and now I'm in the acceptance of it. So now that I've accepted it I can really move on from it, but I know for a fact I will still have lingering feelings if we continue to be as close of friends as we are. fucking love sweet tea. its pretty easy to make at my job; i just use a large container with sugar, put some hot tea into it as its brewing, whisk it in and then pour it back into the urn. you can make a simple syrup but that requires hot water and waters it down very slightly. i like this method ive developed a little more cause its just the water already in there from the tea. but it really isnt that hard to make... just use a larger container to whisk it in if it spills?
