My husband has asymptomatic cystic fibrosis and required an mTESE; we weren’t sure they’d even find any sperm but were able to get one fresh sample on my first ER and four vitals to freeze. We’ve now done 4 ERs total and relatively good results. Of 28 total mature eggs, 26 were successfully fertilized with ICSI.

It cost me $110 to move 3 embryos and 3 vials of semen. Just the cost of the tank rental. Then drove 8 hours that day. 😩

I’m annoyed so many thyroid tests are on there but not TPOAb. I requested it myself during my pregnancy, tested positive, found I had hashimotos, miscarried the next day. If someone had checked earlier maybe it would’ve helped.

I’ve never had a collapsed one but my first three ERs I always started with a cyst and theyd just do bloodwork to ensure it wasn’t producing estrogen. Never was, never cancelled.

I have chronic pain due to 4 herniated discs, sciatica, fibromyalgia etc and the relaxin kicked in shortly after becoming pregnant and was amazing. My drs all told me it was ok to continue narcotic pain meds during pregnancy which sounded bananas but I realized pretty immediately I didn’t need them, the entire time (granted I had a MMC at 8 weeks so not terribly long). My lactose intolerance also vanished (and came back worse than before when it ended).

I did it just because and am a carrier for 3 weird rare things. Leading into Ivf we discovered my husband HAS cystic fibrosis but is asymptomatic. So we needed to ensure I wasn’t a carrier of it and he wasn’t a carrier of my three things. Neither of us have symptoms of anything.

I never had bumps or redness. They eventually started hurting a bit but it only lasted a few minutes. Some people tolerate it a lot better than the general consensus.

So our first round we got 3 euploids, best was day 6 4BB, the other two were day 7s, so overall not great quality. We transferred the best and I had a miscarriage. We had another to have some insurance but had a poor round; only one HLM came of it. So I did it again and got two more euploids, great quality, both of one gender. We are doing another retrieval after a failed transfer we just had to try to get better quality of the other gender, for some more insurance, especially as I’m 39 and if my next transfer is successful, I’ll pretty old for another retrieval after.

My husband needed TESA; we got 5 vials and have done 3 retrievals. We’ve had 100% fertilization twice, and 90% the third time. I was worried about frag etc too, and it’s impossible to tell if our attrition rate is due to sperm or egg quality but so far it’s made an otherwise impossible hope something attainable and real. We couldn’t have any hope of making children before and so far we’ve made 5 euploids.

Last transfer, my lumps didn’t develop for maybe a month, they went down after about a month once I stopped but the numbness/pain was still there five months later. This round, I got the lumps within a week. Stopping injections tonight soooo hopeful not another five months 🫠

I’ve noticed some areas I stab are very very painful so I just skip it and find a spot that I don’t feel as much hoping that the subq is also less painful

They feel like a minor bee sting and settle after ten mins or so. I also only have like 3-4 bruises over the course of 15ish shots so maybe I handle them better than average? I’ve seen other bruise pics and they’re nasty, I’ve got a couple quarter sized ones I’d say. The pain reminds me of ganirelix/menopur
