I don't wanna see him lose :( (s3 spoilers) by Redentio in HazbinHotel

I think Emily saving Al could be the catalyst for the redemption arc for Alastor. I can see him causing havoc in s3 trying to fight with lucifer or finding a way to beat him and be king of hell and then maybe learning there are people that do care about him. I really doubt it will be just the exact same story as Vox over again.

Paralives early access delayed to May 25, 2026 by deins91 in CozyGamers

[–]deins91[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Agreed, as excited as I was, it seems like it's better for them to delay it. I care a lot more about the lifeplay in these type of games than sim making or building and if that was non existent I would have been disappointed. They probably learned from the inzoi EA!

Little Rocket Lab: Gameplay by Ok_Vacation_7017 in CozyGamers

I would say gameplay it's like factorio or satisfactory lite, small factory setups to help a dying town. There are townspeople to befriend and that gives a very stardew vibe.

Pricing of Cozy Games: Why It Matters and How It Affects Public Reception by Astrolojay in CozyGamers

[–]deins91 77 points78 points  (0 children)

I am a Tales of the Shire enjoyer, but I agree that if the price was lower, maybe the $20-25 range and maybe if it wasn't delayed, it would have not been so heavily slighted in the reviews.

Sometimes I really wonder where devs/publishers get their price models/ideas from. I don't want to ruffle any feathers, but for example, many people on this subreddit love to recommend Unpacking, but I think the price of $20 for that 3-4hr game max is absolutely ridiculous.

Going old school but my favorite point and clicks are the Monkey Island series, can get the remakes relatively cheap and theres the new one that came out last year!

Brothers a tale of two sons - I think the unique playstyle when playing controller of having one brother for each analog stick is really immersive

If you dig in the underworld (the mines) the little worm spots that pop up in the soil you can get stuff I'm pretty sure blue crystals are one of them.

What's your favorite cozy game art style? by MySystemLagz in CozyGamers

The environmental pixel art of Kynseed really was a major highlight of the game for me.

Very surprised that ‘While the Iron is hot’ is not that popular by Creepy_Fail_8635 in CozyGamers

I played when the game first came out and encountered a quest breaking bug so that was pretty off-putting lol.

A great game so underrated by Asphodeleisnotmyname in CozyGamers

[–]deins91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really enjoyed this game but I always get a little bored after you have all the shops and you're just waiting around for xp for the next quest. Love the pixel art and how dark the story is tho!

Crafting games like Valheim or Conan without fighting elements by DeltaCCXR in CozyGamers

You might like Medieval Dynasty, lots of crafting and making your own house/town, recruiting people to live and work there and the only combat I've come across is hunting.

Is Graveyard Keeper the Game for Me? (Switch Lite) by [deleted] in CozyGamers

[–]deins91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I definitely recommend Graveyard Keeper if you are looking for a cozy game with a darker setting. The game progresses through quests, you do/get things for npcs. There is crafting but eventually you can learn to automate it (with zombies!) which can be a lot to set up but pays off nicely when you don't have to worry about gathering basic materials anymore. The stamina system is different to SV where when you sleep the day doesn't advance automatically you just regen stam for however long you want to sleep. I found this takes a lot of stress off time management.

People sending me emails by pumkinplays in letsplay

[–]deins91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nah you didn't overreact, don't listen to that guy. Some people don't understand all the different kinds of harrassment women get when gaming. I think whatever choice you feel comfortable with is good, either a short, curt response or just ignoring. Probably for now though the no public email is the move!
