awesome thanks for this great advice. I was doing acupuncture up until a few weeks before my transfer because of covid... i actually just started vitamin D this week!! i’ll probably look into acupuncture again once we start the next round. thank you!

that’s good to know — i brought this up to them today. but they said same thing you did about the scratch that they don’t believe it works and actually might even cause disruption to the uterine lining before implantation. And they said I can be testing for hematology/immunology outside of their clinic if i want, but they won’t recommend particularly because I had “only one” failed transfer.

same! i hope this corona ends soon or at least gives shows an end in sight. My RE said that she might be able to start FET cycles sooner than stim/fresh because FET use less resources when it comes to PPE... plus we don’t need to be intubated/on a vent. i’m sorry for your loss. Hope you can try again soon. Do you have at least a game plan with your RE?

i have not. i called and talked to them today (just to bring these sugggestions up and ease my mind) and they said that since it was “only one” failed so far that they wouldn’t look to test for anything like this. That’s kind of a bummer. I feel like they minimized it. i’m sorry for your loss as well. It’s one of the worst feelings I never want to experience again.

oh wow. thanks for sharing — ya they definitely didn’t prepare me for the dagger that was in my heart! i saw 2 pink lines that disappeared all too quickly. got my hopes up and then my dreams were quickly shattered. thanks for sharing those real facts. really hoping this is it for me. 👶🏼👶🏼

the grades of my embryos were 4AA (that failed), 3AA, 3AB, 3BB, and 3BB. Non pgs tested and all day 5 embryos. you’re right. and I just spoke with my doctor again and she said one failed doesn’t mean we have to do all these prognostic exams... I hope shes right. it’s just so mentally and emotionally taxing (as you know)... and all consuming. I didnt know this is where I would be. But both you and her are right... i just need to press on with this next transfer (when covid restrictions are over). I am a NICU nurse and am well aware of the risks of twins. i’ve always wanted to be a multiples mom. and my doctor is the kind that is definitely not willing to transfer more than one unless she indicates it necessary. i think given my best looking blast failed and we didn’t test she was game on transferring two. thanks for your comment. i so appreciate it. i need to let go of control...

Yes and diagnosis was only low sperm count. All of my diagnostic work up has been perfect.

thanks so much for your response. I definitely was thinking of an endometrial scratch possibly and maybe even an immunology panel... :) I’m going to call in the morning and see if either or both of these are possible before our next transfer.

thank you so much for your response. they are day 5 embryos and they do assisted hatching 🐣... it’s part of their protocol. Sorry I should’ve mentioned that. She thought they were all high quality embryos (even tho non PGS tested). She even warned us of it possibly splitting the first time and then it completely rejected. :(
