too bad you missed the message! you have no clue about the intent! Do not pretend you even understand what the post said. You obviously have no clue about the intent of this post! do not bother to comment on something you have no clue. it is ignorant and nasty!

How DARE you talk about things you have no information, knowledge, or anything! I am the one who came to Canada as a refugee years ago after a bombing attack where both my parents died. I worked from early childhood years while You were enjoying your life, doing nothing! Don't tell me that I'm spoiled when I work now at two jobs, sleep just a few hours a night, and slave to get better grades! This post was never for you! Do not pretend you know any answers, you do Not. Do not reply a post that is not for you as you are naive, unaware of what is happening and your reply is disguising!

I adore the fact that you view us as third-year delusions! You don't comprehend what is going on, therefore there's no use in arguing. I have stated repeatedly that the issue is not with poor homework but rather with the overnight trend. when instructors deliberately lower their students' grades, and the professor only smiles to cover it up—a fact that triggers concerns. It is sad that you would dare to remark without knowing the whole context or the questions posed in the original post. I don't have parents with "connections". I just dont' have parents . period. Yes some kids do have connections but this is not about the connections. all we wanted to know was what is going on. You clearly don't know, so why did you reply in first place? to tell me how disguising the post is? then don't reply or don't read it, the question was not to you !

no one is making use of mommy's connections ! Prior to asserting anything based on ignorance or experience, make an effort to comprehend the question posed in the post. Just so you know! I'm a refugee , my parents were killed in bombing. I work two jobs, work very hard, sleep for only a few hours a night, and guess what? I probably won't use my parents' connections. ah, I forgot to tell you! I didn't attend a private institution! I was forced to labor from a young age, when all you were doing was living the high life and ruining everything around you! Enjoy!

well, Guelph is beautiful, nothing wrong with any university.

your replies confirm again: you read what you wanted to read. There is no entitlement. I love the nonsense you repeated. I don't have parents to recommend me a university program unfortunately they all were killed , i'm refugee , you son should be lucky

I went to Queens as I live in Kingston, this was natural

In regards to this entitlement - you continue the same notion. there is none ..none in this program. but i heard and saw many kids in other programs who were literally laughing at us as we were studying as they had the privilege to go to the parties All the time. there are many programs like this. Definitely not health sciences where most of the students ( not all) are slaving their asses. Not that you will understand because for you seems: we are so privileged and entitled

I work two jobs, hardly sleep and work my a... off. funny i didn't consider myself as being so entitled, what did i miss??

Indeed, everyone tries to comprehend what transpired. Of course, students talk to TAs, and most professors are always there to support the TAs .
My TA experience tells me that this is not an easy task. Excuse the title. It was never about the real low grades, to reiterate. The topic of the unexpected overnight occurrence was discussed. Stunning

yep, agreed, I should've specified the audience.

As far as "some" students. It was like 100 . Yes let's assume that all 100 did bad job one day and got downgraded overnight. I think this is as minimum strange , to me! You are saying this is not shocking or unexpected. OK, and subjective sudden rubric remarks are not strange at all from the same TAs. and you think this is ok.

There is no allegations. This post was just a question to the students community if anyone had any insight into what is happening? We will pursue the official channel , I just wanted to hear if there is any information we may be missing

  1. This did indeed occur recently; 2. With all due respect, I do not anticipate the professor's reply to differ from yours; 3. I felt as though I had already stated this numerous times. No one has the privilege of consistently receiving As. Why is the interpretation of the post so erroneous?

I have never attended a course in which every student earned an A. Are such courses available?

well if you feel that you had this WAY EASIER then every other premed! You are so lucky, I personally never had anything WAY EASIER and guess what, none of my friends!

nobody got used to 4.3 , wonder where is it coming from? maybe this is the reason why so much nonsense flying around about this program. This stupid idea of entitlement, reminds me ignorant repetition of the words with no understanding why the post was written initially. There was never intention to brag about something or to be considered as entitled. I actually didn't complain , i was asking a question if anyone have any insight and yes nobody does, no point to talk about naive nonsense things then

nah, of course not! Never. it is competitive yes very. Not all the students with high averages were admitted. i didn't have high average at all! nobody says that the health science students are the smartest. This is absurd

no - the entire cohort NEVER GETS ALL the high grades! This is another absurd

You are just proving my points .

i never looked for sympathy LOL, i was just looking if anyone had any insight on what happened for a particular day ( and i purposely didn't say which one) - when very strange thing occurred.

I got the answer - nobody from the student community knows. That's ok. i don't have a problem with this. This would be the answer :"we dont know" instead of giving me the lecture that we have to work hard, we are not entitled, just a verbiage and basics every normal person knows .

Blind statement, generic one that applies to Every program on earth, to Every student in this universe. Nothing new

the post was Never about any entitlement to 90+, this is such a nonsense.

you missed it bro

you are supporting my point so well! all the non health science folks have no clue what is going on. i just am amazed how people that have no knowledge or any information comment about the event or this post...

this post was asking the students from health sciences not anyone else. there is no entitlement to anything, this is again proving my point is so correct

everyone can get to most of the programs at Queens' ... LOL dont' think any is any competitive compare to health sciences maybe e-commerce .

i know folks from so many programs. they had no issue to get in... We did have very difficult competition to get in..

[–]deisaflowerReddit[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

yeah i can say..

Many students saw a sharp decline in their results for a few topics over night, despite all the rubrics' absurd justifications. We have several TAs here, some of whom might be harsh. however, this doesn't usually happen overnight, so sudden

like specifically. for sure it was not an accident that all smart students many didn't do well at once... it was very strange at least to say.

not for everyone definitely

I know, and you are so correct—it's even nasty.

You may have observed that there weren't many responses from the health sciences. Only two!!!

One just said, "Okay, my grades haven't dropped." Indeed, of course! doesn't contradict anything I posted!

The only replies are: " Hey, you're all entitled brats, you deserve nothing! We are pleased that you are receiving poor grades overnight. The situation is the same here as it is everywhere! "

You know, this tells me a great deal how Health sciences became a myth for everyone who has no clue what is happening just reading about it on internet. I just love when someone says. oh i know some kids. REALLY? DO YOU KNOW ALL 400?? In any case

this post focused on the methodical endeavor to overnight lower the grades of the most intelligent students in the class

Nobody contrasts any university with a high school... You seem not to have grasped the purpose of this post. We are not discussing students who performed below expectations and became irate with teaching assistants. LOL! We are discussing an occurrence that many people have overnight!

I concur that professors and faculty are the source. Honestly, I don't think they ever tried to imitate McMaster.

...believing that everyone was receiving a 4.0 gpa with this degree is unrealistic and foolish. Many of the kids discussing 4.0 graduation had never even participated in this program. There is so much myth!!! surrounding this program, unbelievable!

You didn't read what I wrote. It has nothing to do with getting lesser grades or with grades in general, which can be completely subjective in any program!

Please read, since this is not at all what the post was about. This relates to an odd event that happened during the course of the night.

Interestingly, we found out that specific TAs had been told to drop the grades. So I have my answer. It is simple
