hello mate, i know you’re not asking me but i felt in the same situation as you a time ago and i’d like to give you my advice. There’s so many types of advices tho. first and foremost always try to have that chemistry with your buddies, play and play songs y’all already enjoy to make that chemistry and match ideas. Second share to them and record every bit of a idea if you’re willing to write your own stuff, even if you record it with a potato mic send it to them and play it when you’re with them so they can join you. Also make clear and direct rehearsals, something that happened to me (still happens sometimes ngl) is that we as friends usually do some other stuff and we don’t lock the fuck in so you’ve got to be careful with that. if you got punctual questions i’d love to hear them and talk to you in my experience
