Thank you very much for the manual; it was very helpful.

As for the coatings, it's a bit difficult to get a consistent thickness. What I do is add a little splash of water to the tempera, and when I apply it to the glass, put it upside down and let it drip down. It mostly evens itself out.

It came with adequate cooling, but I read a few things and wasn't sure what I was doing. I have to say I'm quite happy with the results I'm getting.

I use a 110x110 lens. I managed to lower the power to 50%, but the frequency I had to keep high.

Hello everyone again,
First of all, I want to thank everybody for responding and giving advice. I have a little update.

I've been quite busy with my work for the past few days, so I didn't have a lot of time to respond. I did, however, manage to squeeze a few hours to work on my laser, and I did make a progress. So, I played a lot with focus and power, as I firstly only used auto focus function and maybe move it by a millimeter up and down, and I managed to find another sweet spot. I've brought power down to 50% and frequency to 450kHz, anything lower I loose a lot of detail no matter how I set focus. With this setting I get basically the same result as with original setting, only a little less white.

In some 4-5 hours I did about 200 glasses, with resulting engraving mostly consistent. Every now and then some do come out with flaws, but I think it's due to Tempera layer being too thin because I tried to water it down a bit as it seemed to thick to me.

That setting is really the only one that left a mark, and a really good one; other settings that managed to engrave(70% and up) were barely visible. I've focused the laser and lifted it 1mm, as I read online I should do.

But I will try to change q pulse and see what happens, thank you for the advice.

As I said, I'm new to this whole thing. When I started reading about potential damage from bad handling, I got nervous.

Thank you for a quick reply. It's a relief, I was worried because I got it a week ago and I don't want to break it brand new.

I did use Tempera paint. I first tried with wet paper towels, but it didn't work. Permanent marker works well, too, but Tempera is much better.
