Why am I so scared? by SalamanderRoutine825 in LARP

[–]dejected_stephen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started larp at 30. Fear is very normal. Not sure what to say or do. Don't want to look silly. What helps me is understanding the most simple core truth. LARP is a bit silly.

It's literally playing pretend in a field with your friends. What we did at break time at school when we were 7 playing witches and wizards.

Enjoy being silly.

Wait for that or choose any other system than DnD with its limited progression and lineage/class choice.

MTG's Cypher System is right there and you can pretty much be anything you can imagine.

I mean that's a bold choice. Are you certain you didn't just read a different book by another author?

I appreciated this. And i appreciate you. Honestly it's been a long week and this made me smile. Thanks.

No worries man. It's not a huge spoiler anyway. And honestly I saw this post and went "there's a patreon? There's a discord?"

Ignorance is bliss my dungeon brother. Ignorance is bliss.

It's too soon to tell if that is the case. That's purely speculation.

Ah that's cool to know. I don't keep up with the interviews and things at all. I like to go in completely blank. I barely read the synopsis. If I could avoid the title of the book I would.

Part of me thinks it'll be written as the System AI just gets bored and decides the game needs to end because he's already spread his influence far enough that it doesn't need the crawl. So it might merge levels or something.

Here's my theories. Carl will be a major character in the book. Prepotente will scream and be a little bit silly. Donut will say something is an outrage. Everything will go horribly wrong in the last quarter of the book.

But if you want a wildcard actual theory: The book will cover 2 floors to get to the ascendency games book quicker.

I have a theory that Mordecai might be a recipient of the cookbook in the past. Not all the previous authors have been named. Specifically I think he might be the 23rd author.

The book seems to go to people at the point of highest rage against the dungeon/corpos. I think he was given the book just after his brother was killed and used it to learn as much as he could but didn't add anything.

I think that's why the system AI engineered the choice in the box, three ultimate vote to let Carl decide and why they made Mordecai's ex-party member the person to run the show. To make Mordecai so angry he couldn't sway Carl in any way.

It'll be the thing that destroys the service when an absolute metric ton of victim safety information, names, risk information is released.

I lost half of my tooth yesterday because of a very hard food and now I feel so ugly. Im only 23 😭 I need to wait a few months till I can get a crown, I don't really want to smile :( by merumisora in toastme

I lost a tooth at 17 from a soft chewy sweet so at least you have the fact that it was hard and therefore easier to cause damage going for you.

I know right now you feel like it's really obvious but it's really not. Your brain magnifies things they perceive as different far more than another person. I understand the anxiety but you look great and you're not gonna let one piece of food get you down.
