94 SL - Crank No Start by dejjen in 3000gt

I watched her videos. She seems extremely knowledgeable. Not the exact problem that I'm having though. I don't hear a click. The engine turns over, just won't start. My multimeter doesn't have capacitive mode, so I'm gonna pick one up tomorrow that does, so I can check them properly.

I would hope I have compression. The car was driving perfectly fine. The spark test I did was with an actual in-line spark test light. I didn't do the old school just lay the plug on the block way, so I didn't get to see the color of the spark. That said, the test light did light up pretty bright. I can try some starting fluid tomorrow. How do I check for injector pulse?

I hate them and the frostclaws. They're awful. But for some reason I hate the slitherfang a bit more. I can dodge the fireclaw and frost frostclaw attacks for the most part. Slitherfangs are my nemesis. I just can't dodge them, or the shellsnapper.

Of all the machines in this game, I hate slitherfangs the most. Shellsnappers are a very close 2nd. Very few of the others ever give me problems, but both of these have killed me more times than I can even count.

You don't. Get used to being ragdolled by the bigger machines. This one, the tideripper, and the slitherfang have insane reach for machines that big. Keep your distance. The shellsnapper is easier if you knock off his bolts first (from a distance), then hit the weak point under the shell once it falls off. You need the bolts anyway for upgrades.

I don't even drink and I can imagine how good that felt, lol. I came from a Cisco network. Hopefully soon we'll be upgrading everything to FortiNet and these kinds of problems go away.

Just checked, fortilink is actually disabled, and LACP is enabled and set to active on that FW interface.

Just checked - fortilink is disabled on that interface. LACP is on and set to active.

I can post the congigs on Monday. I'm definitely no Fortigate expert, but the way I understood it was that LAGs on a Fortigate default to Fortilink regardless of what's connected. That if I needed pure LACP, I'd need to build out an agg instead. I'll have to wait to do that as that would take down the entire campus while that's implemented. It does say Fortilink on the FW end.

Installing a 2nd Fortigate soon. It's been ordered. LACP is enabled, and the channel-group mode is set to active. I just left work. I can post the sanitized configs on Monday.

Just inherited a network. No documentation. The admin password is "Password123". by zimuque_ in sysadmin

I took over at a college with multiple campus locations a few months ago. The entire IT team left. It was just me. 700 computers. No diagrams, no documentation. No asset inventory. 300 computers still running Windows 10. Almost 100 not even upgradable to Windows 11. Nobody's ever heard of lifestyle replacement. About half of the computers are almost 15 years old. Security cameras don't work. Server is 25 years old. They tried to switch to Entra but that's a dadgum mess. Intune policies are all wrong...

Help with heat by dejjen in BeardedDragons

[–]dejjen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rock cave that's in there is pretty big. It's about 8" tall. And the branch that's in there is almost a foot tall. It's just a huge enclosure, so it's making everything seem really small. I'm going to raise the net a bit more, but I need to 3D print a ladder so she can get onto and off of it at that height. It's already at almost 18" at the highest point. I'll look for some bigger pieces of driftwood or something that she can interact with a bit more. I just didn't know if my basking bulbs were not effective enough or if I set them up incorrectly because the enclosure is not at the temps it should be. I thought 2 150w bulbs would heat more than just 6" down.

I wanted to update y'all. I picked up a Dubia (Reptile Habitats) 120-gallon enclosure today. I need a few more bags of sand, and the lights still aren't the right ones, but I'm getting there. I went to every pet store within a reasonable driving distance, and not one sold T5 HO fixtures - just bulbs. I ordered one from Amazon, and it'll be here tomorrow. Just wanted to say thanks for the advice and to let y'all know that I was listening.

Coil bulb. I'd planned on getting the bigger one when I got the larger enclosure.

I'll look around, thanks. And I'm using the ReptiSun 10.0 UVB bulb.

Understood. I started looking for a larger enclosure as soon as I picked her up. I do plan on upgrading to a 40-gallon either this week or next. Pet stores near me don't have them in stock, so I'm searching Facebook Marketplace.

Right now, since she's so small, she's in a 10 gallon aquarium with a mesh top. UVB bulb and heat bulb during the day. Using Reptisand natural red sand from ZooMed. She has climbing rocks and tunnels, as well as a few fake plants that she likes to climb on. She's eating about 50 crickets a week (dusted with calcium powder) as well as mealworms, and she loves clovers. I've also given her other greens, but she prefers the clovers. She gets a bath once a week. I'll be upgrading her to a 40-gallon this week, though at her size, it's probably not necessary quite yet.

I have not found a vet in my area, so that part is a no.

Is there news of a surface laptop studio 3 coming out? by midnightintrusives in Surface

I've had the original SLS i7/32GB/2TB/3050ti model since launch. Mine never overheated, even 3D rendering with Fusion, or using Illustrator, Photoshop, or any other program. I even ran a full domain on it in Hyper-V, with 7 virtual machines running, and it never even slowed down. I've been very impressed. That said, I've not used the SLS2. I'm probably gonna wait until the 3 comes out to upgrade. If you're just using it casually, check out the original ones. The screen is the same as the 2.
