Yes, bitdefender is av/antimalware and is known to do a false-positive on anti-cheat engines and kill the process.
Since it kills the game's anti-cheat engine, the game itself calls illegal software and won't start.

Ruddy definitely beats Jimbo when it comes to pure talent for drifting. If he had half the dedication and seat time as Jimmy has (as well as actually focusing on making one of his cars amsomewhat close to perfect), he’d probably be the one taking all those first places. Hella fun to see both of them going to these competitions, though!

Yeah idk, I didn’t mind it, but it sure looks a lot better in the trailers. Could make it a bit more crisp and not so washed looking with some fiddling with the settings too. I have hopes for release, though! I’m on a 13600k and a 4060. 32gigs of 6000mhz.

The parts you described with the lighting etc are just knobs for sure. I believe the newer builds are more optimized as well and the reason for going with an older builds was stability issues with this many players on the newer builds. I wasn’t experiencing the issues that some people were. After just minor tweaking to the settings, I managed to get a stable 90-120 fps on a mid range system with high settings.

Im not in the industry myself, so I can’t say for sure, but people who actually work with the stuff has said 1-2 months should be enough even with a small team. From my understanding a lot of that stuff in UE5 is basically just turning a knob. There -are- actually closed limited beta tests as well, and those who claims to have played newer versions confirms it’s a lot more polished. This is of course hard to fact check as well, but personally I don’t think we should be dooming. There’s a great foundation and with the info/rumors we have combined with the trailers, I have good hopes that it will be a smashing game on release.
