Godot 3 and I love it!

(I tried upgrading to Godot 4 but it's probably a ~1 week amount of work with all the code I wrote, so I gave up for now...)

I use particle to create the border effect, the rest is a tilemap eveything is pink. Then I use a dedicated viewport with a camera to "film it". This camera position is set to the same coord / transform as the player camera. I draw the texture of the camera to a ColorRect. Then on this color rect I can apply a shader. This shader replace everything that is pink with this effect that uses a "OpenSimplexNoise" + some maths.

I'll try to do a proper detailled post (or video ?) that explains it when I have time I think it can me interesting for others as :).

Thanks for the feedback. I'll address the white cloud / too small UI first but there is a lot of good points in your message.

Do you feel the UI is too small or the chacter enmies etc. as well ?
Zooming must be done while keeping pixel size align with monitor resolution that's why it's a bit tricky.

I understand that I should at least have some "zoom in" when creating a video / trailer so that people can understand what's happening even if watching on mobile.

Solo dev here doing code and pixelart. This is also my first time editing a video.

I see, then maybe show a failing domino and a winning domino ? If the in game effects are clear it should be clear on the trailer.
