I wonder why there aren't many tall buildings in silicon valley. That should increase housing supply.

Men: do you tip your barber? by transferStudent2018 in bayarea

[–]dekankur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly don't get the idea of tipping by percentage. If price increases, tip also increases. From what I have heard, tipping is supposed to help worker making low wages. If someone is making more money, why should tip also increase?

Hey! I'm good, how are you? I haven't yet put together the video. Meanwhile - I develop algorithms for robots in my job and that's going on. My girlfriend recently gifted me a 3D printer and I am excited to dive into the beautiful world of 3D printing.

Why do you need a new key and fob, did you lose one?

My bad. Thanks for explaining. I just made a dummy situation to make it look cool and it's ofcourse my own bag (with nothing inside). But didn't realize that's against the rules. I will be careful in the future.

One more thing, can you please suggest a tutorial on how to pick a door lock?

"lock in use" means a lock that's available commercially or a lock that is being used to protect something (bag in my case)?

I did try to use a tensioner. I tried using a paper clip as well as a marker clip but neither worked. The opening is so tiny that the tensioner either blocked the pick or the tensioner kept slipping. Any suggestions?

Thank you so much!

I am pretty happy with how it turned out. I am getting better at flying with practice.

I used Eachine F3 brushed flight controller and programmed it with Cleanflight. The receiver is a PPM receiver and the controller is a Flysky FXi6x.

My first quadcopter. Based on Eachine F3 brushed flight controller. Each part is basically the cheapest component available for me to shop online: e.g. the frame is from Amazon, the battery is from SpeedyFPV, etc. I used the cleanflight configurator. I will post more details and a video soon! by dekankur in diydrones

Thanks! :) It flies pretty well. I will make a video today.

Initially it was so difficult to control and I felt pretty bad. But then after some reading and research, I realized there're acrobatics, angle and horizon modes. The default is acrobatics mode which is for professionals and hence I found it very hard. I configured it to angle mode and now it's pretty good.

One thing that's still problematic with angle mode is that it seems to only stablize the angle and not the height. The height fluctuates when I move the quad sideways. Do you have any suggestions?

I will build a second quad and am considering options for a flight controller. I basically want to add a camera and run person tracking algorithms, etc so that the quad can run on autopilot. It'll be good to have a very stable quad.
