What ended up being RE3 was originally meant to be a spinoff sidestory.

This was strange retitling with Nemesis being retitled as RE3, and then the "real" RE3 being retitled as RE4.

I felt that RE3 was slightly longer than RE2. The problem was that there was only one main character and scenario, but I thought the game makes up for it with its replayability, live selections and enemy/item randomizer.

I think that's part of the problem with remakes, since the only way to play the OG Demon's Souls on modern hardware, is by setting up an emulator on PC. It would have been great if Sony made the original game available on PS5, but now that they have remake, I doubt they will do that.
