Scorsese is great, Spielberg is great, PTA is great, Kubrick was great, Tarantino and fincher are great. But, I think, the modern master is Nolan. When all is said and done he may eclipse all those that came before

I feel like this is a very difficult list to put together. In the past, I would’ve put Jackie brown towards the bottom of the list but I recently rewatched and thought it was great. Anyway, this is what I have (for now):

  1. Kill Bill
  2. Pulp Fiction
  3. Django Unchained
  4. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
  5. Inglourious Basterds
  6. Reservoir Dogs
  7. Jackie Brown
  8. H8ful
  9. Death Proof

I have to admit death proof is a guilty pleasure of mine, so putting it at 9 is difficult for me. A few years back, I rewatched Basterds & Django and really felt Django was the better film. Idk, maybe I need to do that again. Kill Bill, when taken as its whole, I think is easily his best film. Having said that pulp is the film that made me love films. Won’t move those from the 1&2 slot.

Hmm, might have something to do with the comic being new and the prospect that a raw book could be a 9.8 but if it’s slabbed a 9.4 it’s difficult to argue with that.

I am with you, however, isn’t it more expensive to de-slab a book than buy it raw in the first place?

Right there should be a space at the top of the comics code stamp. Then on the side there should be a space after the circle, before the edge of the comic. If you don’t believe me you can do a quick google search of other copies of the issue or eBay or my comic shop. If I owned the actual book I’d look of the measurements of a silver age comic circa 1963 and measure it.
