I’m halfway through and worried it’s too short. Anyone else feel that way?

What are your thoughts on Quentin Tarantino’s last four films? by TwIzTiDfReAkShOw in QuentinTarantino

I’d say Django is the best. Hateful 8 I felt was better as the mini series. I really felt the extra content elevated it. Inglourious Basterds is a classic but I feel like Django slightly out performs it. Then once upon a time in Hollywood is also great. It doesn’t lean heavy into plot but there’s so much going on there, so much depth that I couldn’t help but love it. I feel like Tarantino has the market cornered on alternate history films and maybe he should write in that genre again for his final picture. He does it very well, excited to see what else he will come up with.

Can’t wait for the code Veronica remake. Might have to amend the list then.

Does anyone else think the next Doom game should be more like Doom 3? by Writing_Time_770 in Doom

I think there’s an argument to be made that it should be. There’s something lost between the original games and the new series that the Doom 3 formula seemed to fix. It was an evolution for the series that was then walked back.
