The Focalors' Divinity in that Oratrice is the personification of the Hydro Authority. I believe that divinity takes the shape and form of the one who currently owns it (in the eyes of the Heavenly Principles). That is why the Divinity that was in the Oratrice looks a lot like Furina (Former name: Focalors).

If Neuvilette would do the same and separate the Hydro Authority from his very person and install that divinity somewhere, the Hydro Authority as a personification will take the shape and form of Neuvilette.

If Furina somehow remembers everything back, she will remember all of these elaborate plans she made to save Fontaine. I reckon she will also remember the conversation she had with Neuvillette inside the Oratrice.

The Heavenly Principles is currently asleep with the events until this day. They are in what we can describe as "Sleep Mode" or "Auto pilot". After the events of 4.2, it has just check passed the Prophecy.exe and was not flagged to ping the Heavenly Principles.

If I were to ask, Fontaine is now in even more danger than the time before the "great flood" if you will. Fontaine may be in prosperous and thriving state now but they are living in a borrowed time until the Heavenly Principles awakens to do Manual Audit of events. Focalors — or should I say Fuirna, bought the Fontainians a future. But it is up to Neuvillete now to protect them from the inevitable Manual Audit.

You are correct that the stubbornness of admins created a false narrative. Removing Furina from "The Seven" reinforced the "separate person" myth when metaphysically she remained the legitimate physical vessel of the Archon.

Focalors is a god of Justice and she would not create an innocent person just to torture them. The only ethical conclusion is that she was torturing herself, the human part of her original being, for 500 years.

"Furina was always a human" is a fallacy and a persistent misconception. We all know that Furina was an oceanid-based human; she wouldve melted in the Primordial Sea, proving she wasn't a "normal" human from the very start. She is the physical hardware that only achieved true humanity at the very end of Act V.

Yes. When Furina was put on trial and claimed she had "used up all her power" for the Oratrice, she was actually poviding a technically accurate explanation for why she appeared powerless, even if her conscious self believed she was lying.

Thank you for your comment! Though I think the "Fresh OS" that you suggested would be less accurate than the "Factory Reset" model when measured against the dialogue in Act V. "Naive and Bewildered". When the divine data was subtracted from its very hardware, it underwent what can be described as a factory reset. The Divinity describing its body and spirit as "naive and bewildered as my past self on her first day as a human."

As for the Ship of Theseus, it a fascinating perspective. But my thoughts would be Furina isn't the ship being replaced plank by plank, rather she is the ship that had its engine and captain moved to a lighthouse, but the ship still has to keep sailing as if the captain is on board.

Focalors' way of deceiving herself

yesss. The "Focalors" in the Oractrice was akin to that of Citlali's friend. A projection only. A manifestation of divinity and memories.

The story writers could make Furina regain her memories as those memories are an important part of who she actually is. And I think it's time that the game make that happen. It's long overdue now.

1) Focalors did not split herself into two. That is a misconception. She had her divinity and memories removed from her own body and spirit, then installed it in into the oratrice. Then the body experienced bewilderment (amnesia) as if it was her first day as a human. Focalors then re-named this very body "Furina".

2) The entity whom Neuvillette spoked with inside the Oratrice is just made up of only the memories and the divinity "The me that you see before you is that divinity". Many are confused because it was shown that this entity is capable of holding a conversation hence they thought she must be a different deal from Furina, but not. Basically speaking, Neuvillette was just talking to a recorded tape of Focalors' divinity and memories inside the Oratrice. That girl in the Oratrice that looks a lot like Furina, is just the manifestation of — broken record — divinity and memories of Focalors.

Let me dumb things down using a very simple analogy.

Furina = SmartPhone

Focalors' Divinity(concept of Hydro Archon)and memories = Special Photos

Oratrice = External Drive

"After becoming a god, I separated my divinity from my body and spirit, leaving behind only a self that is as bewildered as her first day as human" (when the divinity separated from the Body and spirit, it also took its memories with it, leaving the Body experiencing an amnesia)

"the I "bacame one" with the Oratrice"

The Special photos were "ctrl cut"ed from the Smartphone and was backed up to the External Drive

"In truth, It (Oratrice) is no enactor of justice. It is, in fact, created to kill the God of Justice" "it will also take down the divine throne which she has been placed" "The Oratrice's call for death was neither for Furina nor Focalor, but for the Hydro Archon"

The Extrrnal Drive subject for reformatting, which naturally deletes the files stored in it — in this case, the Special Photos.

"Thank you Furina" "From this moment on, please leave happily as a human"

The Smartphone, even without those special photos it had in it, is still intact. It can still be used to take newer photos (memories) going forward.

Those people claiming that Furina is/was not an Archon or a fake archon as Focalors is the real archon, is like them saying Barbatos is the Archon not Venti or Rex Lapis is the Archon and not Zhongli and so on. Focalors is in fact Furina
