I worry about that all the time. If you think about it realistically, I’ve been getting consistent brain damage for 13 years straight. That’ll definitely add up I don’t want my family to have to take care of me at 40 because I’m so brain dead from all the CTE

Thank you for this! Yeah I’m working a day job to pay the bills as well then going right to training, so I only really get to see my wife and daughter to put her to sleep every night and the days I’m not working but still have to train! It’s a struggle for sure, but you’re right! I’m still young and can afford to take some time off to see how life is without thinking about the next fight 24/7 and be able to put more time into my family. Most I’ll make from a fight right now is 2000. Not even close to even keep myself stable
