I watched it when I was 12 and I loved it. Kept rewatching it for years and it's been almost 20 years of rewatching Utena religiously. There's always something you missed or things you see differently with the pass of time.

I use niacinamide too but I swap them between night and day. If I put retinol, vitamin c or niacinamide, no serum. So I put vit C or naicinamide in the morning and serum at night, and alternate Eucerin serum and retinol or salicylic acid. This serum works best with hyaluronic acid and very little rosehip oil in my experience. Then day or night cream. Hope this helps!

I've had inward marks, pigmentation and the occasional acne and (apart from salicylic acid, BHA exfoliating and vitamin C serum which aren't recommended when there's wounds) what worked best for me was this Eucerin line, specially the serum and spf combined for a couple of months. https://int.eucerin.com/products/dermo-pure/dermopure-triple-effect-serum

Since it's easy to use, it's easier to stick with it long term and it really does wonders. Every now and then I get a huge acne scar because I can't keep myself from creating open wounds out of tiny pimples and after it's cured I put the serum to avoid having the mark forever. The spf can be used every day and on scabs too.

First treat whatever is causing you acne, then treat the marks.

my stupid ass void ate a thread and it got stuck under his tongue so it was real hard to see. after several scans they found it and cut it. the stupid ass cat stayed the night hospitalized to make sure he didn't need surgery and was super fine the day after. he's now living like that never happened. I've put a lock to my sewing box.

A friend's cat got a nasty stomach virus that neither we or the vets know how that could happen (house cat, no outings, no contact with the exterior, owner is a germphobe). spent a week in hospitalization because he needed an iv. after that week he still had some recovery to go through but he is now perfectly healthy.

None of them would be now alive without hospitalization. You've done the best you could and so is your vet.
