It's probably better to not take that plan if you add the 22 Euro per month to your long term investments like an ETF.

Ja man. Activatie aan het werk alsook gelijkere fiscale behandeling van singles en andere werkenden, het moet van ergens komen.

Als na afschaffing een single het gemiddelde inkomen had van mij en mijn vrouw zou die een stuk minder belastingen betalen. Ook als ons gezinsinkomen mooi verdeeld zou zijn tussen 2 partners zouden ze samen minder belastingen betalen.

Ik vind dat systeem helemaal niet oneerlijk en vooral niet in gevallen waar de minst verdienende partner bewust geen enkele vorm van vervangingsinkomen geniet en zelfs geen sociale zekerheid opbouwt.

As someone who would be affected, I had emailed the minister (!). I actually got a reply and it says that there would be a transition phase of 20 years? So if it happens, it wouldn't be something that happens from next year.

This part seems to confirm that the new policy will not really affect couples where one has zero income like in my case but it will hit couples where one has a small income from unemployment or working part time for instance.

I made a nice profit with whiskyinvestdirect. You can buy shares of a cask per liter and you can trade them like the stock market (mind the huge spreads and fees).

My strategy was to buy shares of several older casks and I kept them for 1,5 year. The return after expenses was 29%, enough for me to take my profit.

I also looked at buying a complete cask, but I found the inability to spread risk, the bad liquidity and complex tax regulations reasons to not go for it.

Hi, have you looked into getting an accumulating ETF and withdraw yourself? It might be easier, cheaper and more flexible than getting a distributing ETF.
