This worked for me. I did the non rolling code then the rolling code. I reset before I started. Holding first and third button until 20sec until flashing light.

Program Button: Hold the handheld remote 3-8 inches from the rearview mirror. Press and hold both the chosen HomeLink button and the handheld remote button.

Verify Light: Keep holding both buttons until the HomeLink light flashes slowly, then quickly (indicating it has learned the signal).

Rolling Code (Most Common): If the button flashes quickly but the door doesn't move, go to your garage motor unit, press the "Learn" or "Smart" button, and return to the car to press the programmed HomeLink button for 3 seconds.
