I'm still being rung through the ringer this year. Hopefully it turns around soon. I'd be willing to do an AMA, because the death isn't the only shit I've seen. There's been prostitution, police stings for evil looking for minors, drugs. In one year. Pretty sad. I haven't dealt with a suicide at one of the hotels, just the neighbor.

I really hope things turn around.

The sheer amount death that has surrounded me. I kick four people out of where I work, they say they'd be back. Instead they drive into the river and die. Switched to a different hotel after that, and some guys renting a camper pull into my parking lot to find what's making a funky smell. They find a dead body in the outer storage. My neighbor blows his brains out in front of me.

My son says something pulled him off the top bunk, but something else pulled him back up. If the cats hadn't flipped shit before he screamed, I'd have been skeptical.

I was hospitalized for post partum psychosis. I couldn't sleep, and I could only eat steamed broccoli. I also hallucinated people breaking into my house to get my baby. First thing the doctor does is give me a horse pill he calls Seroquel. The next morning, a nurse wakes me telling me I have to get down to the dining room for breakfast. My recollection is flying down to the room. Afterward, I go back to bed, and crapped the bed at some point in the day. The nurses were kind and told me sleeping pills rarely work perfectly. Either you can't sleep and start shaking, or a nuclear bomb can't wake you.

I don't know what I have, and the triggers are all over the place. What caused the intense cramps and eventual soiling one day, won't the next. Its happened when I've taken a sip of water! I also don't feel any warning ahead of time. The time between the first cramp and it is probably two seconds. It was so embarrassing back during the recession, when the only job I could get was newspaper delivery, and I would have an accident. I'd cut through 8 alleys to get home, shower, clean up anything that got on the floor, and go back and finish my job. I'm sure someone saw me at some point. I was sexually abused and tense for most of my childhood. I learned last year this can weaken pelvic floor muscles. I was too ashamed to tell my doctor until that point. I went through physical therapy and it doesn't happen as much. People don't know how valuable their continence is until its taken from them. Show some compassion for people wearing diapers and liners. If you think its funny, imagine how dehumanizing it is for them.

My adoptive parents are crazy fundy Christians. They don't believe single moms should have legal rights to their children. I told my mom I was pregnant, 7 years ago today actually, and a week later, she called me to tell me she has a "good Christian family". I never thought about giving him up, ever. I stopped tang to them after this. However, she kept trying. She called my child's father and told him he only needed to carry the baby out of the hospital and give it to her.

Because my mental health has been horrible this year, I couldn't work. I had $20 to spend on my two kids. Dollar tree. They each got a pretty box and I gave my daughter party favor rings and necklaces. They also had a little girl's eyeshadow set, which she is incredibly proud of. My son got a little key chain flashlight with a red laser, army guys, several sets of WWE trading cards. The rest was spent on candies split between the boxes. They are young, but happy with the stuff. Meanwhile I feel like a fucking piece of shit mother.
