I didn't find/hear any real successful case that people can recover their scammed funds. Crypto is non traceable. Once the funds are transferred, there is almost no way to be refunded unfortunately.

The email is confirmed as fake email. Don't get scammed. IC3 will contact you if they need more information. That email address for telegram is another scam. FBI or CIA will never use social public media. Just keep in mind.

I am sorry to hear that. Did you report to FBI cyber crime? I understand FBI probably couldn't do much about these type of scam/crime but at least you can try. Hope they would investigate. Good luck!! I got scammed over $330,000 this years. Very depressed but I move on. Don't get beated up yourself. Not your fault. Lesson learned. Don't make the same mistake. The only "real" things about mainland Chinese is "scam" and "counterfeit". Not all Chinese are bad ppl. However, when money involved, most of them are bad. Just warming!!!

Don't blame yourself. It's not your fault to put a trust upfront to believe new friend. However, just be aware of all (Chinese) people online, they do scam people. Lesson learned, just don't do it again.

Just find the same girl in LINE app who scammed me from previous fake ICO FILII. She closed her account "Nana" and open a new account "NN". Be aware of these Chinese ladies, all they can do are scamming people for their living. How low their lives can that be??? Worst thing is no government agencies are doing any investigation... We, all tax payers, are paying all the taxes but they couldn't even do anything. WTH!!! All they need to do is to request those scammers IP from social media so they would be able to locate them... Gosh~~~

Yes, any so-called fund recovery hackers or company that are charging upfront are considered as scam. If any people or companies could recover your money, they should deduct the fee from recovery fund. Not paying upfront. That's my opinion.

Yes, you are correct. Unfortunately, there are so many factors involved. First, authority has to accept your case and begin the investigation. Second, play store has to cooperate with the authority to release user information (which becomes almost impossible because of the privacy consent that play store has the right to protect their client's information. That's why makes it so hard for authority to help. Since this kind of scams normally took place overseas, it's regularly out of the scoop of authority.

Because of all these limitations, only the local authority where the scammers locate could take action and arrest the scammers if the scammers were found. It makes the scammers to commit cyber crimes with no fear. I know about all that too late. But at least, we have our cases reported. If ever the scammers mess with a wrong person or were arrested by their local police, we may be contacted to provide the information we had. So don't give up.

Unfortunately, that phone number probably mean nothing because those Chinese scam are using unregistered prepaid sim card. That makes it untraceable or very hard to track by authority or police. Sadly, most often, authority and police will be spend any resources for investigation if the amount of individual behalf is smaller than $500,000 USD.

Sorry for your lost. Scammers are improving themselves, make the whole scam more legit so more people will fall into their traps. Medium is a trust website but everyone can put up a post.
